Romain Febvre a remport\u00e9 ce dimanche le 12\u00e8me round de la saison MXGP disput\u00e9 sur la piste de Matterley Basin, en Grande-Bretagne. Le Fran\u00e7ais monte sur la plus haute marche du podium et reprend ainsi quelques points au classement provisoire \u00e0 son plus proche poursuivant, Lucas Coenen, second du GP devant le vainqueur de la premi\u00e8re manche Glenn Coldenhoff.<\/p>\n

Coldenhoff et sa Fantic officielle ont rapidement d\u00e9bord\u00e9 Lucas Coenen en premi\u00e8re manche pour prendre la t\u00eate de la course et filer vers la victoire devant notre compatriote alors que Romain Febvre, parti en 5\u00e8me position, revenait finalement 3\u00e8me devant Herlings, un moment deuxi\u00e8me de la course avant de perdre deux places en fin de manche au profit de Coenen et de Febvre.<\/p>\n

Febvre a men\u00e9 la seconde manche de bout en bout devant Fernandez, Coenen, Herlings et Coldenhoff… des positions d\u00e9j\u00e0 acquises d\u00e8s les premiers instants de course.<\/p>\n

Brent Van Doninck (10+16) prend la 13\u00e8me place du GP alors que Geerts a rapidement abandonn\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re manche apr\u00e8s une chute et n’a pas pris le d\u00e9part de la seconde, vraisemblablement souffrant d’un orteil fractur\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Antonio Cairoli a pour sa part sign\u00e9 deux solides manches au guidon de la Ducati qu’il pilotait pour la deuxi\u00e8me fois cette saison sur le mondial MXGP. Le nonuple champion du monde a termin\u00e9 7\u00e8me et 8\u00e8me des manches de Matterley Basin, prenant la 7\u00e8me place finale du classement du GP.<\/p>\n

Prochain round du mondial MXGP les 12 et 13 juillet en Finlande.<\/p>\n
