Le prodige belge de la cat\u00e9gorie MXGP a d\u00e9croch\u00e9 avec panache sa sixi\u00e8me pole position de la saison ! Une d\u00e9monstration de force qui confirme, s\u2019il le fallait encore, son statut de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne. Derri\u00e8re lui, Romain Febvre et Calvin Vlaanderen compl\u00e8tent un top-3 de tr\u00e8s haut niveau.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s le d\u00e9part, la course de qualification a r\u00e9serv\u00e9 son lot de surprises. Isak Gifting, impressionnant sur sa machine priv\u00e9e, a pris les commandes devant les Yamaha boys : Vlaanderen et Jago Geerts. Plus loin, Febvre n\u2019\u00e9tait que dixi\u00e8me, tandis que Coenen remontait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 grandes enjamb\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les chronos, Coenen avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 frapp\u00e9 fort, se montrant plus rapide de plusieurs dixi\u00e8mes que Jeffrey Herlings, de retour aux affaires. Et en course, il a tout simplement \u00e9cras\u00e9 la concurrence, encha\u00eenant les d\u00e9passements avec une autorit\u00e9 incroyable. Les Fantic Boys, Bogers et Coldenhoff, avaient pourtant lanc\u00e9 la bataille, bient\u00f4t rejoints par Geerts et Vlaanderen.<\/p>\n<p>Mais au 7e tour, Lucas Coenen passe \u00e0 l\u2019attaque et prend la t\u00eate avec ma\u00eetrise, laissant Gifting derri\u00e8re lui. Dans la lutte au sommet du championnat, Febvre a fait ce qu\u2019il fallait : une belle remont\u00e9e jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me place, devant un Vlaanderen solide. Gifting, \u00e9poustouflant du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin, d\u00e9croche une exceptionnelle quatri\u00e8me place, devant Coldenhoff.<\/p>\n<p>Les Belges \u00e9taient en feu : Geerts termine sixi\u00e8me, Van Doninck septi\u00e8me ! Quant \u00e0 Herlings, encore en phase de reprise, il assure tout de m\u00eame une neuvi\u00e8me place honorable.<\/p>\n<p>Avec cette victoire, Coenen r\u00e9duit encore d&rsquo;un point son retard sur Febvre au classement provisoire MXGP.
