\u00c0 seulement 18 ans, la N\u00e9erlandaise Lotte Van Drunen (De Baets Yamaha) a confirm\u00e9 son statut de nouvelle reine du motocross f\u00e9minin. Ce week-end \u00e0 Darwin, en Australie, la pilote de Gorinchem a d\u00e9croch\u00e9 son deuxi\u00e8me titre mondial WMX cons\u00e9cutif, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une 3e place finale au Grand Prix (3-4).<\/p>\n

Sous pression en arrivant en Australie, Van Drunen avait son destin en main. Apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re manche compliqu\u00e9e samedi, o\u00f9 la nervosit\u00e9 s\u2019est fait sentir, la \u00ab Sand Queen \u00bb a retrouv\u00e9 son assurance lors de la seconde course. Partie une nouvelle fois tr\u00e8s fort avec le holeshot, elle a r\u00e9sist\u00e9 aux attaques de ses rivales directes Daniela Guillen et Kiara Fontanesi, avant de g\u00e9rer intelligemment sa quatri\u00e8me place, suffisante pour s\u00e9curiser le titre mondial.<\/p>\n

Au classement final, Van Drunen conserve 7 points d\u2019avance sur l\u2019Italienne Kiara Fontanesi (GASGAS), tandis que l\u2019Espagnole Daniela Guillen (GASGAS), victorieuse du GP avec un score parfait (2-1), compl\u00e8te le podium final du championnat.<\/p>\n

Guillen s\u2019offre Darwin, Fontanesi en dauphine<\/strong><\/p>\n

Si le titre est revenu \u00e0 Van Drunen, la victoire de l\u2019\u00e9preuve australienne s\u2019est jou\u00e9e entre Guillen et Fontanesi. Les deux pilotes GASGAS se sont partag\u00e9es les victoires de manches (1-2 pour Fontanesi, 2-1 pour Guillen), terminant \u00e0 \u00e9galit\u00e9 parfaite de points (47). Au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de sa victoire en seconde manche, c\u2019est bien l\u2019Espagnole qui s\u2019impose au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du GP.<\/p>\n

La jeune Australienne Charli Cannon (Honda) a brill\u00e9 devant son public avec une belle troisi\u00e8me place dans la deuxi\u00e8me manche et une 4e place finale.<\/p>\n

Verstappen proche du Top 4 mondial<\/strong><\/p>\n

C\u00f4t\u00e9 belge, Amandine Verstappen (Yamaha) a livr\u00e9 un week-end solide en terminant 6e du GP (4-8). Au championnat, elle signe une tr\u00e8s belle 5e place finale, \u00e9chouant \u00e0 seulement un point de la v\u00e9t\u00e9rane allemande Larissa Papenmeier.<\/p>\n

Avec une victoire de GP et pas moins de quatre podiums cette saison, Lotte Van Drunen a construit son titre sur la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9. Elle devient ainsi la plus jeune double championne du monde de motocross f\u00e9minin.<\/p>\n
