Une lourde chute a en effet \u00e9limin\u00e9 notre compatriote de la premi\u00e8re et unique manche du GP d&rsquo;Australie, round final de la saison mondiale de motocross.<\/p>\n<p>Geerts avait plut\u00f4t bien entam\u00e9 son week-end australien avec une huiti\u00e8me place lors de la course qualificative samedi. Dans la premi\u00e8re manche, Jago s\u2019est retrouv\u00e9 dans une longue bataille pour le top-10. L&rsquo;officiel Yamaha continu\u00e9 de mettre la pression sur Pauls Jonass mais n\u2019a pas trouv\u00e9 l\u2019ouverture face au Letton. Au 15? tour, tout a bascul\u00e9 : Geerts a lourdement chut\u00e9 et, trop sonn\u00e9, n\u2019a pas pu repartir. Il termine le championnat du monde 2025 \u00e0 la douzi\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0J\u2019avais en fait pris un assez bon d\u00e9part dans la premi\u00e8re manche, mais j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 pouss\u00e9 large dans le premier virage\u00a0\u00bb, explique Geerts. \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019\u00e9tais onzi\u00e8me, clairement plus rapide que Jonass, mais je n\u2019ai pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 le d\u00e9passer. Ensuite, j\u2019ai perdu le contr\u00f4le dans une bosse de freinage. Ma moto est partie de travers et je suis tomb\u00e9 violemment. J\u2019\u00e9tais essouffl\u00e9 et \u00e9tourdi. Je suis all\u00e9 au centre m\u00e9dical par pr\u00e9caution.
