Comme pr\u00e9vu, le pilote Nestaan Husqvarna Kay de Wolf, passera en MXGP en 2026. \u00c0 21 ans, le N\u00e9erlandais franchit ainsi une nouvelle \u00e9tape dans une carri\u00e8re d\u00e9j\u00e0 impressionnante.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing vient d\u2019annoncer que Kay de Wolf, champion du monde MX2 2024 et double vainqueur de la cat\u00e9gorie MX2 au Motocross des Nations, restera \u00e9galement dans l\u2019\u00e9quipe en 2026. Il quittera alors le MX2 pour rejoindre le MXGP au guidon de la Husqvarna FC 450, le mod\u00e8le phare de la marque. Une transition qui prolonge une collaboration fructueuse ayant marqu\u00e9 une grande partie de sa carri\u00e8re en Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

Depuis son arriv\u00e9e dans la famille Husqvarna en 2019, l\u2019ascension de De Wolf a \u00e9t\u00e9 tout simplement spectaculaire. De ses d\u00e9buts en EMX125 \u00e0 sa domination sur les circuits sablonneux d\u2019Europe, il a su allier pr\u00e9cision, agressivit\u00e9 et ma\u00eetrise technique, devenant ainsi l\u2019un des talents les plus excitants du motocross mondial.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s une saison 2023 d\u00e9cisive en MX2 \u2013 avec une premi\u00e8re victoire de Grand Prix en Lettonie et plusieurs podiums qui lui ont valu la sixi\u00e8me place du championnat \u2013 De Wolf a connu une ann\u00e9e 2024 ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nale : sept victoires de GP, douze podiums et le titre mondial MX2 \u00e0 seulement 20 ans. En 2025, il a confirm\u00e9 son statut avec sept nouveaux succ\u00e8s en GP et une deuxi\u00e8me place au championnat du monde.<\/p>\n

Ses r\u00e9ussites vont au-del\u00e0 du championnat du monde. De Wolf est plusieurs fois champion des Dutch Masters of Motocross et a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 les Pays-Bas \u00e0 deux reprises au Motocross des Nations, contribuant \u00e0 une troisi\u00e8me place d\u2019\u00e9quipe en 2024, tout en remportant la cat\u00e9gorie MX2. Un an plus tard, il a r\u00e9\u00e9dit\u00e9 l\u2019exploit, d\u00e9crochant la prestigieuse \u00ab\u00a0MXoN Gold Plate 2025\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u2019est un moment tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cial pour moi. Passer en MXGP avec Husqvarna \u2013 l\u2019\u00e9quipe qui est ma maison depuis mes d\u00e9buts professionnels \u2013 est une \u00e9tape logique. Nous avons v\u00e9cu ensemble des choses incroyables en MX2 : des victoires, des podiums, un titre mondial et d\u2019innombrables le\u00e7ons en route. La FC 450 est une machine fantastique et je m\u2019y sens d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 l\u2019aise. Bien s\u00fbr, la MXGP repr\u00e9sente un \u00e9norme d\u00e9fi, mais je suis pr\u00eat. Je veux apprendre des meilleurs, continuer \u00e0 progresser et montrer ce que nous pouvons accomplir dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u2019est vraiment exceptionnel de voir comment Kay a \u00e9volu\u00e9 au fil des ann\u00e9es. D\u00e8s ses d\u00e9buts en EMX, on voyait d\u00e9j\u00e0 sa combinaison unique de vitesse et de d\u00e9termination \u2013 les qualit\u00e9s qui l\u2019ont men\u00e9 \u00e0 un titre mondial MX2 et \u00e0 de nombreux r\u00e9sultats de haut niveau. Le passage en MXGP est une grande \u00e9tape, mais nous n\u2019avons aucun doute sur sa capacit\u00e9 d\u2019adaptation. Son \u00e9thique de travail, son \u00e9tat d\u2019esprit et sa relation avec l\u2019\u00e9quipe sont remarquables.
