Une nouvelle venue dans le paysage du motocross qui entend redistribuer les cartes en apportant avec elle une technologie innovante propre au constructeur italien. Mais que vaut le mod\u00e8le de production de cette machine qui a fait couler tant d&rsquo;encre ces derniers mois ? On aurait pu croire \u00e0 une blague, mais non : la marque italienne d\u00e9barque avec une machine 100 % cross et une fiche technique qui fait tourner les t\u00eates. Et pour marquer le coup, elle d\u00e9gaine direct un moteur avec une distribution desmodromique. Le point n\u00e9gatif ? Un entretien plus pointu et rigoureux. \u00c0 ne pas prendre \u00e0 la l\u00e9g\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s notre arriv\u00e9e sur le terrain, la Desmo450 MX en impose. L\u2019assiette sur l\u2019avant rappelle les motos tr\u00e8s maniables, et Ducati semble avoir bien boss\u00e9 sur l\u2019ergonomie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performances et accessibilit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Annonc\u00e9e \u00e0 63 chevaux, la Ducati est tout simplement la 450 la plus puissante du march\u00e9. Et pourtant, \u00e0 la conduite, elle ne te d\u00e9monte pas les bras. Le moteur est doux, progressif et tr\u00e8s coupleux. Tr\u00e8s proche de celui de ma Suzuki, que je consid\u00e8re comme l\u2019un des plus agr\u00e9ables en cross. Clairement, Ducati a trouv\u00e9 un bon compromis entre performance brute et accessibilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Et pour les plus pointilleux, tout est param\u00e9trable via une appli : courbe moteur, frein moteur, traction control\u2026 Tout y est. Perso, j\u2019ai test\u00e9 le traction control et le quickshifter, mais je les ai vite d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9s. Je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re rouler sans aides. Mais soyons honn\u00eates : en 450, on roule rarement haut dans les tours. Ce genre de moteur s\u2019exprime surtout dans le bas et le milieu. Par contre, sur une future 250 Desmo, cette technologie pourrait \u00eatre un vrai game changer.<\/p>\n<p>La moto est maniable, vive, stable, avec un bon feeling de l\u2019avant. Ducati a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 \u00e9viter l\u2019effet \u00ab\u00a0moto rigide et brutale\u00a0\u00bb qu\u2019on pouvait redouter. Franchement, agr\u00e9able surprise. Avec un moteur doux, une assiette sur l\u2019avant, et quand on regarde les r\u00e9sultats GP, on sent que ce n\u2019est pas encore sa zone de confort. Mais bon, Ducati d\u00e9bute. Et avec des pilotes comme Matt\u00e9o Puffet pour l\u2019emmener sur les courses du championnat de France de sable, on sera vite fix\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une machine pr\u00eate \u00e0 vous surprendre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ducati a frapp\u00e9 fort. Tr\u00e8s fort. Une moto puissante, bien finie, agr\u00e9able \u00e0 rouler, avec de la vraie technologie embarqu\u00e9e. Le tout dans un ch\u00e2ssis sain. La Desmo450 MX n\u2019est pas qu\u2019une vitrine marketing : c\u2019est une vraie moto de cross, pr\u00eate \u00e0 rouler\u2026 et \u00e0 surprendre.<\/p>\n<p>Reste \u00e0 voir si elle confirmera en conditions extr\u00eames (sable, boue, saison compl\u00e8te).
