Tosha Schareina a remport\u00e9 ce mardi la 3\u00e8me \u00e9tape du Dakar 2026, infligeant au clan KTM sa premi\u00e8re d\u00e9faite. Une \u00e9tape longue et \u00e9prouvante de pas moins de 736 kilom\u00e8tres au total autour d’Alula. J\u00e9r\u00f4me Martiny a souffert mais s’offre une belle 30\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n

Les \u00ab orange \u00bb occupaient le terrain jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent avec trois sp\u00e9ciales que s\u2019\u00e9taient partag\u00e9es Edgar Canet et Daniel Sanders. Mais la confrontation prend d\u00e9sormais une autre tournure avec un premier coup frapp\u00e9 par les Monster Energy Honda HRC, et pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment Tosha Schareina qui remporte l\u2019\u00e9tape du jour \u00e0 Alula, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il avait sign\u00e9 son premier scratch en 2024. L\u2019Espagnol, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 le dauphin de Sanders l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re comme sur l\u2019ensemble de la saison du W2RC, se positionne pour le grand rendez-vous de l\u2019\u00e9tape marathon-refuge qui attend les favoris d\u00e8s demain. Il a pris place sur le podium provisoire, \u00e0 1\u201913\u2019\u2019 de son rival annonc\u00e9 Daniel Sanders.<\/p>\n

L\u2019Australien a \u00e9t\u00e9 contraint d\u2019ouvrir la piste sur une bonne partie des 421 km du secteur chronom\u00e9tr\u00e9 au programme. Il n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 rejoint sur la piste que par Ricky Brabec qui s\u2019affirme comme un autre homme en forme de ce d\u00e9but de Dakar. C\u2019est lui qui prend la 2e place du classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, \u00e0 1\u201907\u2019\u2019 de Sanders, et confirme la densit\u00e9 du clan Honda.<\/p>\n

Chez KTM, Edgar Canet a \u00e9volu\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8rement en retrait par rapport aux trois premi\u00e8res journ\u00e9es, et descend d\u2019un cran dans la hi\u00e9rarchie, 4e \u00e0 8\u201946\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

La situation dans la cat\u00e9gorie Rally 2 a radicalement chang\u00e9 depuis le d\u00e9part de Yanbu. Apr\u00e8s les probl\u00e8mes \u00e9lectriques de Neels Theric qui lui avaient fait perdre 2h50\u2019 sur le prologue et l\u2019abandon sur chute\u00a0d\u2019Harith\u00a0Noah, c\u2019est maintenant\u00a0Tobias\u00a0Ebster\u00a0qui perd ses chances de remporter le titre pour lequel il \u00e9tait l\u2019un des favoris (9e du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et 2e R2 en 2025).Bless\u00e9 \u00e0 la main, le pilote autrichien devrait renoncer : bien que le r\u00e8glement lui autorise \u00e0 reprendre la route, il ne sera plus en mesure d\u2019arbitrer le match qui se profile entre\u00a0Mike Docherty, vainqueur aujourd\u2019hui, et\u00a0Martim Ventura, qui le suit \u00e0 3\u201932\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Le pilote Honda Anquety Motorsport termine cependant cette quatri\u00e8me journ\u00e9e particuli\u00e8rement difficile \u00e0 une solide 30\u00e8me place. Il est 32\u00e8me du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral provisoire, en 3\u00e8me position des \u00ab\u00a0malle-moto\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e0 sept petites secondes de la 2\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n
