Pass\u00e9 par le Carta Rallye 2025, o\u00f9 il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 la surprise avec une 3e place au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et une victoire de cat\u00e9gorie, le Fran\u00e7ais a rapidement attrap\u00e9 le virus du rallye. \u00ab Ma passion pour la course n\u2019a jamais disparu. Je regardais le Dakar avec mon p\u00e8re quand j\u2019\u00e9tais enfant, et le rallye-raid m\u2019a toujours fait r\u00eaver \u00bb, explique Paulin.<\/p>\n<p>Habitu\u00e9 aux manches de 45 minutes en MXGP, l\u2019ancien pilote officiel Yamaha d\u00e9couvre aujourd\u2019hui un tout autre univers. \u00ab Le rallye, c\u2019est compl\u00e8tement diff\u00e9rent. Il faut g\u00e9rer son rythme, son endurance, sa navigation\u2026 sur plus de 6 000 km. J\u2019en ai fait \u00e0 peine 1 000 \u00e0 2 000, donc la marge de progression est \u00e9norme. Heureusement, l\u2019\u00e9quipe et Alessandro m\u2019aident \u00e9norm\u00e9ment. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Botturi, l\u2019exp\u00e9rience et la revanche<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Face \u00e0 lui, Alessandro Botturi apporte toute son exp\u00e9rience du rallye-raid. Double vainqueur de l\u2019Africa Eco Race (2019, 2020), l\u2019Italien reste marqu\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9dition 2025, perdue pour seulement 26 secondes apr\u00e8s un incident m\u00e9canique dans les derniers kilom\u00e8tres. \u00ab Avoir Gautier dans l\u2019\u00e9quipe est incroyable. L\u2019objectif est clair : prendre ma revanche et d\u00e9crocher une troisi\u00e8me victoire \u00e0 l\u2019Africa Eco Race. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le parcours 2026 suivra la trace des anciens Paris-Dakar, avec un d\u00e9part \u00e0 Tanger, une travers\u00e9e de l\u2019Atlas, du Sahara, des dunes de Mauritanie, avant une arriv\u00e9e mythique au Lac Rose, \u00e0 Dakar. Un v\u00e9ritable test d\u2019endurance pour les pilotes comme pour les machines. \u00ab Ce sera une \u00e9norme courbe d\u2019apprentissage pour moi \u00bb, reconna\u00eet Paulin. \u00ab Je suis l\u00e0 pour soutenir Alessandro et apprendre un maximum.
