Romain Febvre a \u00e9t\u00e9 victime ce dimanche d’une violente chute sur le Grand Prix d’Espagne \u00e0 Almonte, en Espagne, deuxi\u00e8me halte du championnat du monde de motocross 2026. Si le champion du monde s’en sort bien, il devra n\u00e9anmoins parvenir \u00e0 se reconcentrer rapidement sur son prochain objectif : le GP de Suisse, d\u00e8s le week-end qui arrive.<\/p>\n

Solide troisi\u00e8me de la premi\u00e8re manche, Romain Febvre \u00e9tait \u00e0 nouveau revenu de la 6\u00e8me \u00e0 la 3\u00e8me position en seconde manche quand au dixi\u00e8me tour, dans une courbe rapide, la roue avant de sa Kawasaki s’est enfonc\u00e9 dans le sable mou avant de butter brusquement sur un sol plus ferme. Le Fran\u00e7ais a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9ject\u00e9 par-dessus le guidon et a encaiss\u00e9 un choc violent \u00e0 la poitrine. Plusieurs minutes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaires pour qu’il puisse se relever et rejoindre le paddock \u00e0 pied.<\/p>\n

Les examens au centre m\u00e9dical sont rassurants : aucun os fractur\u00e9. Cette chute intervient cependant au pire moment pour Febvre. Alors qu’il faisait partie des hommes capables de repartir d’Espagne avec la plaque rouge, il r\u00e9trograde finalement \u00e0 la quatri\u00e8me place du classement provisoire.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Aujourd’hui a \u00e9t\u00e9 une journ\u00e9e difficile pour toute l’\u00e9quipe\u00a0\u00bb, confiait Antti Pyrh\u00f6nen, Team Manager de l’\u00e9quipe KRT. \u00ab\u00a0Romain \u00e9tait en plein contr\u00f4le avec sa troisi\u00e8me place en premi\u00e8re manche. Puis il y a eu dans la seconde cette chute assez violente avec un arr\u00eat brutal. Il est pass\u00e9 aux rayons X et tout est en ordre, mais il a pris un coup s\u00e9v\u00e8re aujourd’hui.
