Au guidon de sa KX450-SR, le Fran\u00e7ais a parfaitement lanc\u00e9 sa journ\u00e9e avec un holeshot autoritaire en premi\u00e8re manche. En t\u00eate durant la majeure partie de la course, Febvre a longtemps contr\u00f4l\u00e9 ses poursuivants gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un rythme solide et des trajectoires propres.<\/p>\n

Mais dans les derniers tours, sous la pression et avec la gestion du trafic des retardataires, la situation s\u2019est compliqu\u00e9e. D\u00e9pass\u00e9 \u00e0 deux tours de l\u2019arriv\u00e9e, il doit finalement se contenter de la deuxi\u00e8me place, laissant filer une victoire qui lui tendait les bras.<\/p>\n

Une seconde manche compromise<\/strong><\/p>\n

La deuxi\u00e8me course s\u2019annon\u00e7ait plus d\u00e9licate, notamment en raison d\u2019un mauvais choix de grille h\u00e9rit\u00e9 de la qualification. Malgr\u00e9 une bonne sortie de grille, Febvre s\u2019est retrouv\u00e9 enferm\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur au premier virage. Dans sa remont\u00e9e, une chute en d\u00e9but de manche est venue an\u00e9antir ses espoirs. Reparti au-del\u00e0 du top-20, il a sign\u00e9 une belle remont\u00e9e jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la 12e place, insuffisante toutefois pour viser un podium au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s la course, Febvre revenait avec franchise sur son week-end :<\/p>\n

\u201cOn a eu un souci samedi qui m\u2019a co\u00fbt\u00e9 cher le dimanche. J\u2019ai eu un peu de chance dans la premi\u00e8re manche de pouvoir me placer \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la grille, ce qui m\u2019a permis de faire le holeshot et de mener la majorit\u00e9 de la course, mais j\u2019ai fait une erreur \u00e0 quelques tours de la fin et \u00e7a m\u2019a co\u00fbt\u00e9 la victoire. En deuxi\u00e8me manche, il n\u2019y avait aucune place disponible, j\u2019\u00e9tais compl\u00e8tement \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur. J\u2019ai encore pris un bon d\u00e9part, mais j\u2019\u00e9tais trop \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur pour me rabattre avant le premier virage. J\u2019ai essay\u00e9 d\u2019attaquer trop fort dans le premier tour et j\u2019ai fait une erreur, et ensuite c\u2019\u00e9tait trop loin pour revenir sur les leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n

Avec une 6e place au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Febvre passe \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 du podium mais limite les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts au championnat, o\u00f9 il conserve la 5\u00e8me position pour arriver le mois prochain devant son public, sur la piste de Lacapelle-Marival.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
