Pour la premi\u00e8re fois de sa jeune carri\u00e8re, Sacha Coenen prenait ce week-end le d\u00e9part d’un GP avec la plaque rouge sur sa KTM. Notre compatriote a en effet pris la t\u00eate du provisoire MX2 le week-end dernier en Allemagne. Et le moins que l’on puisse \u00e9crire, c’est que cette position de nouveau patron de la cat\u00e9gorie n’a pas fait trembler Sacha. Il signe en effet \u00e0 Kegums le week-end parfait. De 3 points samedi matin en arrivant en Lettonie, son avantage au provisoire sur L\u00e4ngenfelder a gonfl\u00e9 \u00e0 37 au moment d’en repartir.<\/p>\n

Coenen a men\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re manche de bout en bout. Apr\u00e8s quelques minutes, c’est son co\u00e9quipier et rival dans la course au titre, Simon L\u00e4ngenfelder, qui menait la chasse derri\u00e8re notre compatriote. Camden McLellan prenait un peu plus tard la seconde place avant de partir \u00e0 la faute et de laisser l’Allemand reprendre la seconde place. Il ne la conservait cependant pas longtemps puisqu’il ne pouvait r\u00e9sister au retour de Mathis Valin. Le Fran\u00e7ais s’emparait de la seconde place \u00e0 5 tours de la fin pour ne plus la l\u00e2cher. En toute fin de course, L\u00e4ngenfelder subissait encore la loi des deux officiels Triumph, Mc Lellan puis Farres, et se contentait donc de la cinqui\u00e8me place sous le drapeau \u00e0 damiers.\u00a0 Reisulis et Everts, revenu de la 13\u00e8me place, arrivaient ensuite.<\/p>\n

Contraint \u00e0 l’abandon en seconde manche, Simon L\u00e4ngenfelder a perdu de gros points au championnat face \u00e0 Coenen.<\/p><\/div>\n

Dans la seconde manche, bis repetita pour Coenen qui menait les d\u00e9bats du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin. Karlis Reisulis semblait devoir prendre la deuxi\u00e8me place mais c’est in extremis Camden McLellan qui doublait le Letton dans l’ultime tour de course. Longtemps quatri\u00e8me, Valin terminait finalement 6\u00e8me, loin devant Liam Everts, isol\u00e9 \u00e0 la 7\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n

Septi\u00e8me peu avant la mi-course, Simon L\u00e4ngenfelder disparaissait alors des classements, victime d’une grosse chute dont il n’a pu repartir.<\/p>\n

Un sc\u00e9nario qui fait \u00e9videmment le jeu de Sacha Coenen. Auteur d’un week-end parfait avec une victoire samedi dans la manche qualificative puis un doubl\u00e9 ce dimanche, notre compatriote a fait le plein de points. Il prend la bagatelle de 34 points \u00e0 son co\u00e9quipier au provisoire du championnat pour arriver sur le prochain GP \u00e0 Montevarchi (Italie) dans deux semaines avec un avantage subitement devenu confortable de 37 points.<\/p>\n
