\u00c0 l\u2019approche de la mi-saison du Championnat du Monde MXGP, Romain Febvre est parvenu \u00e0 d\u00e9crocher la cinqui\u00e8me place du classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’\u00e9preuve, malgr\u00e9 des d\u00e9parts compliqu\u00e9s dans les deux manches,<\/p>\n

D\u00e8s le d\u00e9part de la premi\u00e8re course, Febvre semblait pourtant en mesure de jouer les premiers r\u00f4les. Auteur d’une bonne sortie de grille, le Fran\u00e7ais a toutefois \u00e9t\u00e9 bouscul\u00e9 dans le premier virage, perdant tout son \u00e9lan et se retrouvant rel\u00e9gu\u00e9 aux derni\u00e8res positions.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Loin de se d\u00e9courager, le pilote Kawasaki a livr\u00e9 un premier tour exceptionnel pour remonter jusqu’au dixi\u00e8me rang. Coinc\u00e9 pendant plusieurs tours derri\u00e8re un adversaire particuli\u00e8rement difficile \u00e0 d\u00e9passer, il a n\u00e9anmoins poursuivi sa progression une fois l’obstacle franchi. Sa remont\u00e9e s’est achev\u00e9e \u00e0 une solide sixi\u00e8me place, acquise dans l’avant-dernier tour.<\/p>\n

Une seconde manche construite avec intelligence<\/strong><\/p>\n

La deuxi\u00e8me course a suivi un sc\u00e9nario similaire. Handicap\u00e9 par un manque de motricit\u00e9 au d\u00e9part, Febvre a toutefois n\u00e9goci\u00e9 intelligemment le premier virage pour pointer rapidement dans le top 10. Huiti\u00e8me d\u00e8s le deuxi\u00e8me tour, il s’est de nouveau retrouv\u00e9 bloqu\u00e9 derri\u00e8re un concurrent d\u00e9fendant vigoureusement sa position.<\/p>\n

Patient mais d\u00e9termin\u00e9, le Fran\u00e7ais a port\u00e9 son attaque \u00e0 cinq tours de l’arriv\u00e9e avant d’encha\u00eener deux d\u00e9passements suppl\u00e9mentaires pour s’emparer de la cinqui\u00e8me place de la manche. Un r\u00e9sultat identique au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

Si Montevarchi ne restera pas comme l’un des meilleurs week-ends de la saison de Febvre en termes de r\u00e9sultat brut, le pilote tricolore a n\u00e9anmoins r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une op\u00e9ration comptable positive. En inscrivant davantage de points que son plus proche poursuivant au championnat, il consolide sa troisi\u00e8me place au classement provisoire et renforce ses ambitions de m\u00e9daille de bronze \u00e0 l’approche de la seconde moiti\u00e9 de saison.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 l’issue de la journ\u00e9e, le pilote Kawasaki ne cachait pas une certaine frustration :<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous avons d\u00fb utiliser le pneu pour terrain dur aujourd’hui et nous n’avons tout simplement pas r\u00e9ussi nos d\u00e9parts. J’ai tr\u00e8s bien remont\u00e9 le peloton, mais je suis un peu frustr\u00e9 parce que ce type de circuit me convient parfaitement et je suis convaincu que j’aurais pu gagner ce Grand Prix si j’\u00e9tais parti avec les leaders. C’est toujours plus facile de d\u00e9passer en fin de manche lorsque les autres pilotes baissent de rythme, mais j’ai perdu trop de temps au d\u00e9but. Dans la premi\u00e8re manche, il y avait plusieurs trajectoires possibles dans presque tous les virages. Apr\u00e8s la pluie tomb\u00e9e entre les deux courses, l’int\u00e9rieur est devenu boueux pour la seconde manche, ce qui a r\u00e9duit les possibilit\u00e9s de d\u00e9passement. \u00bb<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
