Les fans de motocross am\u00e9ricains vont retrouver Antonio Cairoli cet \u00e9t\u00e9. Le nonuple champion du monde fera son retour en championnat AMA Pro Motocross \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de trois \u00e9preuves cons\u00e9cutives, sous les couleurs de Ducati. Il viendra compl\u00e9ter une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation europ\u00e9enne, parmi laquelle nos compatriotes Lucas et Sacha Coenen, tout simplement exceptionnelle.<\/p>\n

M\u00eame apr\u00e8s avoir mis un terme \u00e0 sa carri\u00e8re \u00e0 temps plein en Grand Prix, Antonio Cairoli reste un \u00e9l\u00e9ment central du programme motocross de Ducati. En tant que pilote d\u2019essais, l\u2019Italien joue un r\u00f4le majeur dans le d\u00e9veloppement de la nouvelle Desmo450 MX.<\/p>\n

Afin de poursuivre ce travail dans des conditions de course, Cairoli traversera \u00e0 nouveau l\u2019Atlantique pour participer aux \u00e9preuves de RedBud (5 juillet), Southwick (12 juillet) et Spring Creek (19 juillet). Il int\u00e9grera le Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Team, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Dylan Ferrandis et Justin Barcia.<\/p>\n

Ce retour n\u2019a rien d\u2019une d\u00e9couverte pour le pilote italien. La saison derni\u00e8re, Cairoli avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 disput\u00e9 les manches de RedBud et Spring Creek afin de recueillir de pr\u00e9cieuses donn\u00e9es pour le d\u00e9veloppement de la machine italienne.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ancien champion du monde avait \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 au championnat am\u00e9ricain outdoor en 2022 avec KTM. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son immense exp\u00e9rience et \u00e0 sa popularit\u00e9 intacte, le Sicilien demeure l\u2019un des pilotes les plus appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s du paddock, quel que soit le continent o\u00f9 il \u00e9volue.<\/p>\n

Une forte pr\u00e9sence europ\u00e9enne \u00e0 Southwick<\/strong><\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9preuve de Southwick s\u2019annonce particuli\u00e8rement internationale cette ann\u00e9e. Lucas Coenen et Sacha Coenen ont confirm\u00e9 leur participation sur le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre circuit sablonneux du Massachusetts, ajoutant encore davantage de prestige \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9quipe fran\u00e7aise Bud Kawasaki fera \u00e9galement le d\u00e9placement avec plusieurs renforts europ\u00e9ens. Le leader actuel du championnat EMX250, l\u2019Espagnol Francisco Garcia, disputera l\u2019\u00e9preuve am\u00e9ricaine, tout comme le prometteur pilote australien Jake Cannon, engag\u00e9 en cat\u00e9gorie 250MX.<\/p>\n

Autre nom bien connu du motocross europ\u00e9en, Roan van de Moosdijk sera lui aussi de la partie.
