Rodrig Thain et ses co\u00e9quipiers S\u00e9bastien Soyeurt et Gr\u00e9gory Neefs ont fait carton plein ce week-end dans la 33\u00e8me \u00e9dition de la Chinelle. Le Fran\u00e7ais et les deux locaux se sont en effet offert le meilleur temps lors des qualification avant de mener de bout en bout la manche de nuit (lire notre article<\/a>) puis de remettre le couvert cet apr\u00e8s-midi en s’imposant dans la seconde tranche de 6 heures. Un tableau sans la moindre fausse note qui offre \u00e9videmment une\u00a0tr\u00e8s belle\u00a0victoire\u00a0\u00e0\u00a0 l’\u00e9quipage franco-belge qui triomphe donc dans cette 33\u00e8me \u00e9dition des 12 Heures de la Chinelle.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Superbement \u00e9paul\u00e9 par S\u00e9bastien Soyeurt (d\u00e9j\u00e0\u00a0 vainqueur de l’\u00e9preuve en 2006 avec David Fr\u00e9tign\u00e9 et Gilles Dejong) et Gr\u00e9gory Neefs, celui que l’on surnomme \u00e0\u00a0 juste titre \u00ab\u00a0Hot Rod\u00a0\u00bb n’a pas boud\u00e9 sa joie au moment de franchir la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e d’une \u00e9preuve qu’il d\u00e9couvrait. Un coup d’essai transform\u00e9 en coup de ma\u00eetre pour le pilote officiel HM qui s’est vraiment montr\u00e9 un ton au-dessus sur la piste, tant la nuit que la journ\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Le meilleur temps en course pour Cremer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dans la seconde tranche de 6 heures, c’est pourtant un certain C\u00e9dric Cremer qui est cr\u00e9dit\u00e9 du meilleur temps en course. Tr\u00e8s rapide au guidon de la KTM 250 EXC qu’il partageait avec Advokaat et Wassink, celui qui partira d\u00e8s demain pour la Slovaquie afin de tenter d’y d\u00e9crocher un titre de champion d’Europe d’enduro, se sentait comme chez lui sur le circuit hyper sec de Franchimont. Parti en t\u00eate lors du second d\u00e9part, il c\u00e9dait cependant le leadership d\u00e8s le second tour au Namurois Steve Piret \u00e0\u00a0 la suite d’une chute dans les bois qui le rel\u00e9guait en 5\u00e8me position. Ce qui ne l’emp\u00eachait pas de reprendre la t\u00eate 1 heure plus tard, juste avant de devoir rentrer aux stands pour y passer le relais! Le trio officiel KTM termine cette deuxi\u00e8me manche \u00e0\u00a0 la seconde place.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re eux, Wim Vanderheyden et ses co\u00e9quipiers Robert et Vogels placent leur Husaberg 300 \u00e0\u00a0 la 3\u00e8me place apr\u00e8s une course tr\u00e8s r\u00e9guli\u00e8re. Dommage que la nuit n’ait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi calme pour les 3 hommes qui ont d\u00e0\u00bb repasser plusieurs fois par les stands suite \u00e0\u00a0 des probl\u00e8mes d’\u00e9clairage et \u00e0\u00a0 un mousse arri\u00e8re d\u00e9truit… Leur 14\u00e8me place dans la premi\u00e8re manche les a en effet contraint\u00a0\u00e0\u00a0 se contenter d’une 7\u00e8me place au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

La r\u00e9gularit\u00e9, voil\u00e0\u00a0 sans doute une des qualit\u00e9s essentielles dans une course comme la Chinelle. Vincent Grandjean, Steve Piret et Bryan Boulard l’ont bien compris puisqu’ils terminent chacune des manches \u00e0\u00a0 la 4\u00e8me place, ce qui permet au trio de l’AMPL de monter sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium final et donc d’y accompagner les vainqueurs Neefs\/Thain\/Soyeurt et leurs dauphins Caps\/Melotte\/Hubin, 5\u00e8me seulement dans la seconde manche.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Un podium auquel aspirait \u00e9galement le team officiel Yamaha emmen\u00e9 par le double champion de Belgique d’enduro Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Goblet, \u00e9paul\u00e9 ce week-end par Tom Frison et Charles-Antoine Allegra. Seconds \u00e0\u00a0 moins de 40 secondes de la HM de Thain au terme de la manche de nuit, ils allaient perdre tout espoir de podium et de victoire d\u00e8s la seconde heure de course ce dimanche en rentrant aux stands avec un frein arri\u00e8re endommag\u00e9. Le temps de r\u00e9parer et c’est dans une vaine course-poursuite qui les m\u00e8nera en 7\u00e8me position que les prot\u00e9g\u00e9s de Philippe Blondiau se lancent. Ils \u00e9chouent au pied du podium, \u00e0\u00a0 la 4\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n
