Je les imagine m\u00eame dans le top 3, voire en mesure de se battre pour la victoire. \u00bb L&rsquo;ancien pilote Kawasaki rappelle toutefois que la m\u00e9t\u00e9o pourrait redistribuer les cartes. Les temp\u00e9ratures souvent caniculaires de Southwick rendent cette \u00e9preuve particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9prouvante.<\/p>\n<p>Ricky Carmichael, de son c\u00f4t\u00e9, invite \u00e0 ne pas sous-estimer les sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s de Southwick. Si la piste est r\u00e9put\u00e9e pour son sable, elle n&rsquo;a finalement que peu de points communs avec les circuits europ\u00e9ens. \u00ab Beaucoup de pilotes venus d&rsquo;Europe sont arriv\u00e9s avec de grandes ambitions avant de se faire surprendre. Le circuit est \u00e9troit, avec un fond tr\u00e8s dur qui devient extr\u00eamement glissant. Leur exp\u00e9rience du sable pourrait rapidement faire la diff\u00e9rence, m\u00eame si Southwick reste un exercice tr\u00e8s particulier.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux anciens champions soulignent \u00e9galement que cette tourn\u00e9e am\u00e9ricaine repr\u00e9sente un investissement pour l&rsquo;avenir. Au-del\u00e0 des r\u00e9sultats, les fr\u00e8res Coenen d\u00e9couvrent le fonctionnement du championnat AMA : un programme condens\u00e9 sur une seule journ\u00e9e, une organisation diff\u00e9rente et un environnement totalement nouveau. \u00ab La premi\u00e8re d\u00e9couverte est derri\u00e8re eux. D\u00e9sormais, ils savent comment se d\u00e9roule un samedi de course aux \u00c9tats-Unis et cela ne sera plus une inconnue.
