Sacha Coenen a subi avec succ\u00e8s une intervention chirurgicale lundi aux \u00c9tats-Unis afin de r\u00e9parer la fracture de la clavicule contract\u00e9e samedi dernier \u00e0 Southwick. Le leader du championnat du monde MX2 esp\u00e8re d\u00e9sormais pouvoir reprendre la comp\u00e9tition d\u00e8s ce week-end \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du MXGP de Grande-Bretagne \u00e0 Foxhills.<\/p>\n

Le pilote Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 19 ans, avait pourtant v\u00e9cu une journ\u00e9e exceptionnelle \u00e0 Southwick. Dominateur dans la cat\u00e9gorie 250MX, le Belge avait sign\u00e9 un doubl\u00e9 en remportant les deux manches. Sa victoire dans la seconde course avait cependant \u00e9t\u00e9 acquise au prix d\u2019une lourde chute dans les derniers tours. Malgr\u00e9 la douleur, Coenen \u00e9tait remont\u00e9 sur sa KTM pour arracher la victoire. \u00c0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e, il craignait d\u00e9j\u00e0 une fracture de la clavicule, un diagnostic confirm\u00e9 ensuite par les examens m\u00e9dicaux.<\/p>\n

Op\u00e9r\u00e9 lundi, notre compatriote a subi la pose d\u2019une plaque destin\u00e9e \u00e0 stabiliser l\u2019os fractur\u00e9. L\u2019intervention s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e comme pr\u00e9vu et laisse ouverte la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019un retour extr\u00eamement rapide derri\u00e8re la grille de d\u00e9part.<\/p>\n

Avant de pouvoir participer au Grand Prix de Grande-Bretagne, Sacha Coenen devra toutefois obtenir l\u2019autorisation du m\u00e9decin officiel de la FIM lors de la traditionnelle visite m\u00e9dicale pr\u00e9vue vendredi. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019apr\u00e8s ce contr\u00f4le qu\u2019il sera d\u00e9clar\u00e9 apte \u00e0 disputer les manches de Foxhills.<\/p>\n

Un retour aussi rapide apr\u00e8s une op\u00e9ration de la clavicule reste exceptionnel, m\u00eame si certains pilotes ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9ussi ce type de pari. En 2024, Simon L\u00e4ngenfelder avait notamment repris la comp\u00e9tition seulement une semaine apr\u00e8s une intervention similaire et avait imm\u00e9diatement termin\u00e9 dans le top 10 du GP de Lugo.<\/p>\n
