Nos deux jeunes compatriotes viennent de signer un contrat de plusieurs ann\u00e9es avec KTM.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le doute n\u2019est d\u00e9sormais plus permis : Lucas et Sacha Coenen traverseront l\u2019Atlantique en 2027 pour poursuivre leur carri\u00e8re aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Leur nouvel accord porte sur plusieurs ann\u00e9es et ouvre un nouveau chapitre particuli\u00e8rement ambitieux dans la jeune carri\u00e8re des Coenen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lucas en 450, Sacha en 250<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9partition des cat\u00e9gories est d\u00e9j\u00e0 connue. Lucas Coenen \u00e9voluera en 450 SX\/MX, tandis que son fr\u00e8re Sacha restera en 250 SX\/MX. Le Belge s&rsquo;est rapidement impos\u00e9 comme l&rsquo;un des pilotes les plus rapides de la cat\u00e9gorie reine du MXGP. Vice-champion du monde d\u00e8s sa premi\u00e8re saison compl\u00e8te en MXGP en 2025, il avait \u00e9galement marqu\u00e9 les esprits en devenant le plus jeune vainqueur d&rsquo;un Grand Prix dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine.<\/p>\n<p>Cette saison encore, Lucas avait pris les commandes du championnat MXGP avant que des probl\u00e8mes physiques ne viennent perturber sa campagne. Son passage aux \u00c9tats-Unis lui permettra d\u00e9sormais de se mesurer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement aux r\u00e9f\u00e9rences am\u00e9ricaines de la cat\u00e9gorie 450.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience am\u00e9ricaine tr\u00e8s convaincante<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le choix de KTM n&rsquo;est pas une surprise totale. Les fr\u00e8res Coenen avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 effectu\u00e9 une premi\u00e8re incursion dans le championnat am\u00e9ricain en 2026, avec plusieurs participations en AMA Pro Motocross.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 Thunder Valley, Lucas avait imm\u00e9diatement frapp\u00e9 fort en terminant deuxi\u00e8me du classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral 450, avec deux manches particuli\u00e8rement solides. C&rsquo;est tr\u00e8s cool d&rsquo;avoir cette opportunit\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un nouveau d\u00e9fi pour les jumeaux belges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le passage aux \u00c9tats-Unis constitue une \u00e9tape majeure pour les deux pilotes. Apr\u00e8s avoir grandi dans le syst\u00e8me europ\u00e9en et s&rsquo;\u00eatre impos\u00e9s comme deux des figures de la nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration du motocross mondial, Lucas et Sacha vont devoir s&rsquo;adapter \u00e0 un environnement radicalement diff\u00e9rent.<\/p>\n<p>Le Supercross am\u00e9ricain repr\u00e9sentera notamment un d\u00e9fi in\u00e9dit pour les deux Belges, tandis que les longues manches et les circuits du Pro Motocross leur offriront un terrain plus proche de celui qu&rsquo;ils connaissent en Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Pour KTM, cette op\u00e9ration permet surtout de conserver deux de ses plus grands talents au sein de la m\u00eame structure tout en leur offrant la possibilit\u00e9 de conqu\u00e9rir un nouveau championnat.
