Le titre mondial lui a toutefois \u00e9chapp\u00e9, mais Jago a termin\u00e9 \u00e0 quatre reprises vice-champion du monde. Geerts s\u2019est alors engag\u00e9 pour deux ans avec Beta, mais cette troisi\u00e8me campagne en MXGP ne s\u2019est pas d\u00e9roul\u00e9e comme esp\u00e9r\u00e9. Son meilleur r\u00e9sultat reste une septi\u00e8me place au Grand Prix de R\u00e9publique tch\u00e8que. \u00c0 l\u2019issue de l\u2019avant-derni\u00e8re \u00e9preuve, le Belge occupe la quatorzi\u00e8me place du championnat, \u00e0 un Grand Prix de la fin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quelles cons\u00e9quences pour Beta et Honda ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pour Beta, 2027 sera une saison plac\u00e9e sous le signe de la reconstruction. Apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9part anticip\u00e9 de Rick Elzinga, qui rejoindra Van Venrooy KTM, le constructeur italien perd un deuxi\u00e8me pilote MXGP et devra donc composer une toute nouvelle \u00e9quipe.<\/p>\n<p>On ignore encore si Geerts travaillera \u00e9galement avec l\u2019entra\u00eeneur r\u00e9put\u00e9 de sa nouvelle \u00e9quipe.
