L\u2019Espagnol pilotera une YZ450FM officielle en MXGP en 2027 et retrouvera dans le m\u00eame temps Tim Gajser, qui avait effectu\u00e9 le m\u00eame changement un an plus t\u00f4t. De 2023 \u00e0 2025, les deux hommes avaient partag\u00e9 le m\u00eame box chez HRC.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fern\u00e1ndez avait rejoint Honda en 2021, d\u2019abord au sein du team 114 Motorsports, avant d\u2019int\u00e9grer l\u2019\u00e9quipe officielle en 2023. Cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, il avait remport\u00e9 en Argentine le GP d\u2019ouverture de la saison, signant ainsi sa premi\u00e8re victoire en Grand Prix. Il avait termin\u00e9 le championnat du monde \u00e0 la cinqui\u00e8me place. En 2025, il avait d\u00e9croch\u00e9 le quatri\u00e8me rang final. Une d\u00e9cision qui met fin \u00e0 trente ann\u00e9es de collaboration avec le team belge Kemea de Hans Corvers, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Genk et responsable du programme officiel MXGP depuis 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 partir de 2027, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe d\u00e9pendra directement de Yamaha Motor Europe, dont Andrea Dosoli dirige la division comp\u00e9tition. Elle sera install\u00e9e dans le nouveau centre de recherche et d\u00e9veloppement de Gerno di Lesmo, o\u00f9 Yamaha d\u00e9veloppe \u00e9galement ses programmes MotoGP et WorldSBK.<\/p>\n<p>Le contrat de Maxime Renaux, qui \u00e9voluait cette saison aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Gajser et a termin\u00e9 le championnat \u00e0 la huiti\u00e8me place, arrive \u00e0 son terme. En 2019 et 2020, l&rsquo;Espagnol avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 pilot\u00e9 une YZ250F au sein du team italien SDM Corse Yamaha, d&rsquo;abord en EMX250, puis en championnat du monde MX2.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Apr\u00e8s autant d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es pass\u00e9es avec la m\u00eame \u00e9quipe, les m\u00eames personnes et la m\u00eame moto, je suis vraiment impatient de vivre ce changement \u00bb, explique-t-il. \u00ab Tout sera nouveau : les personnes, la moto et l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe.
