Autant dire qu&rsquo;il \u00e9l\u00e8ve des purs sang.\u00a0Sous l&rsquo;auvent de la marque autrichienne en effet, des machines parmi\u00a0les plus performantes du plateau MXGP, dont les championnes du monde confi\u00e9es \u00e0\u00a0 Jeffrey Herlings (MX2) et \u00e0\u00a0 Antonio Cairoli (MX1). On \u00e9voque avec lui le d\u00e9veloppement effectu\u00e9\u00a0ces derniers mois sur la 250 SX-F, une machine qui domine la cat\u00e9gorie MX2 de fa\u00e7on outranci\u00e8re depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. Son travail: faire en sorte que cette domination perdure le plus longtemps possible&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les pilotes KTM ont a nouveau survol\u00e9 la cat\u00e9gorie MX2 en 2012. Comment s&rsquo;est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e la saison du point de vue de la technique et du\u00a0d\u00e9veloppement ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dirk Gruebel: \u00ab\u00a0Non sans mal car nous avons d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 et test\u00e9 tr\u00e8s tard dans l&rsquo;hiver. Au mois de mars, nous \u00e9tions encore sur nos bases de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. La version 2013 a fait ses grands d\u00e9buts \u00e0\u00a0 Valkenswaard lors du premier Grand Prix mais nous \u00e9tions \u00e0\u00a0 court de testing. Jeffrey se plaignait de la moto au point m\u00eame qu&rsquo;il a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 repartir sur la version 2012 au soir de la Bulgarie. Il l&rsquo;estimait encore un peu faible lors des d\u00e9parts. C&rsquo;est seulement lors de la tourn\u00e9e Br\u00e9sil\/Mexique qu&rsquo;il a opt\u00e9 d\u00e9finitivement pour la \u00ab nouvelle \u00bb version. Seuls les r\u00e9glages de suspensions varient mais c&rsquo;est vraiment infime. La moto de Jordi est quant \u00e0\u00a0 elle plus basse que les deux autres.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vos pilotes sont-ils de gros \u00abconsommateurs\u00bb de mat\u00e9riel ?<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Dirk Gruebel: \u00ab\u00a0Oui, dans la mesure o\u00f9 les 250cc actuelles se pilotent \u00e0\u00a0 hauts r\u00e9gimes et nos pilotes ont des charges d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement importantes. J\u00e9r\u00e9my roule g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement deux fois par semaine (en dehors des courses) et Jeffrey deux \u00e0\u00a0 trois fois. Malgr\u00e9 tout,\u00a0nous devons constamment le freiner car s&rsquo;il le pouvait, il roulerait tous les jours ! (rires). Jordi est \u00e9galement un gros travailleur mais il use moins que ses deux comp\u00e8res.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quels seront les grands axes de travail pour la saison prochaine ?<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nDirk Gruebel: \u00ab\u00a0Nous partons sur une bonne base que nous devons encore d\u00e9velopper et fiabiliser. Elle a notamment \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par Ben Townley (entre autres) dans notre base de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque \u00e0\u00a0 Eindhoven en roulant \u00e9norm\u00e9ment dans le sable. C&rsquo;est donc une moto qui a ses racines en Europe et qui a \u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0mise au point avec notre carburant. Aussi, nous travaillons en \u00e9troite collaboration avec des partenaires tels que Pankl (arbre \u00e0\u00a0 cames et piston), WP, Akrapovic ou Get depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. Nous arrivons donc \u00e0\u00a0 un niveau d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience et de d\u00e9veloppement quasi sans faille.<\/p>\n<p>Aux Etats-Unis,\u00a0il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une nouvelle structure qui doit trouver ses marques. Les partenaires doivent apprendre \u00e0\u00a0 s&rsquo;adapter aux conditions locales, tant en termes de terrains, de carburant que de temp\u00e9ratures&#8230; On sait que les teams de pointe l\u00e0\u00a0-bas tels que Geico ou Pro Circuit ont une exp\u00e9rience redoutable.
