Enfin! Hier, \u00e0\u00a0 Atlanta, James Stewart a enfin r\u00e9alis\u00e9 la course dont il r\u00eavait depuis le d\u00e9but de la saison. En effet, il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un superbe d\u00e9part pour mener la course de bout en bout. Pourtant, Stewart n’a pas eu le temps de souffler. En effet, le champion en titre, Ryan Villopoto, est rest\u00e9 toute la course dans la roue de Stewart. Il n’a cependant jamais trouv\u00e9 la moindre ouverture pour prendre le meilleur sur la Suzuki N\u00b0 7 et il a d\u00e0\u00bb finalement se contenter de la deuxi\u00e8me place. Davi Millsaps, fid\u00e8le \u00e0\u00a0 lui-m\u00eame, a effectu\u00e9 une course r\u00e9guli\u00e8re qui lui a permis de se hisser sur la troisi\u00e8me marche du podium.<\/p>\n

Le co\u00e9quipier de Villopoto, Jake Weimer, faisait hier son retour apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 bless\u00e9 (c\u00f4tes fractur\u00e9es) et malade (pneumonie). Le pilote Kawa avait occup\u00e9 le troisi\u00e8me place durant les premiers tours avant de devoir redescendre \u00e0\u00a0 la quatri\u00e8me position pour faire place \u00e0\u00a0 Millsaps qui allait continuer ainsi jusqu’au drapeau \u00e0\u00a0 damier,Villopoto terminant juste devant lui. ‘<\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re, Justin Barcia avait d\u00e9pass\u00e9 Jake Weimer pour le gain de la quatri\u00e8me place et allait terminer ainsi. Barcia avait pourtant un moment menac\u00e9 Millsaps mais il allait finalement devoir c\u00e9der du terrain pour terminer \u00e0\u00a0 trois secondes du leader du classement provisoire. Vers la moiti\u00e9 de la course, on trouvait Trey Canard et Ryan Dungey respectivement aux cinqui\u00e8me et sixi\u00e8me places et les deux pilotes allaient camper sur leur position jusqu’\u00e0\u00a0 la fin de la course.<\/p>\n

Pour sa premi\u00e8re comp\u00e9tition en 450 de l’ann\u00e9e, Eli Tomac, le leader du championnat 250 de la C\u00f4te Ouest, occupait la septi\u00e8me place devant Weimer. Ce dernier allait finir par conserver sa huiti\u00e8me place suivi par Reed, neuvi\u00e8me, et Alessi, dixi\u00e8me.<\/p>\n

La r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 de Millsaps permet \u00e0\u00a0 celui-ci de conserver sa place de leader au classement provisoire. Il pr\u00e9c\u00e8de Villopoto de vingt-deux points et Dungey de vingt-six points.<\/p>\n
