Cl\u00e9ment Desalle a remport\u00e9 ce samedi soir le GP du Qatar disput\u00e9 \u00e0\u00a0 Losail. Le Qatar accueillait ce week-end l’\u00e9preuve d’ouverture des championnats du monde MX1 et MX2. Notre compatriote s’est impos\u00e9 devant le champion du monde en titre Antonio Cairoli et Gautier Paulin en MX1. Dans la cat\u00e9gorie MX2, le Hollandais Jeffrey Herlings s’impose facilement devant l’Australien Dean Ferris et le Fran\u00e7ais Romain Febvre.<\/p>\n

Cl\u00e9ment Desalle d\u00e9bute la saison de la meilleure fa\u00e7on qui soit. Ce samedi soir \u00e0\u00a0 Losail, l’officiel Suzuki est en effet parvenu \u00e0\u00a0 prendre d’embl\u00e9e les commandes du championnat en remportant le premier GP de la saison. Une victoire que le pilote de Mons doit \u00e0\u00a0 une seconde place dans la Superfinale qui opposait, comme le pr\u00e9voit d\u00e9sormais\u00a0le r\u00e8glement pour les GP overseas, les meilleurs pilotes MX1 et MX2 apr\u00e8s avoir remport\u00e9 la toute premi\u00e8re manche de la saison.<\/p>\n

Parti en 4\u00e8me position, Desalle laissait le soin \u00e0\u00a0 son co\u00e9quipier Kevin Strijbos de mener le d\u00e9but de course. Strijbos se laissait ensuite\u00a0glisser derri\u00e8re De Dycker, qui prenait les commandes de la manche, Bobryshev et Desalle. Ce dernier ne tardait pas \u00e0\u00a0 prendre le meilleur sur le pilote Honda et passait ensuite Keeno peu apr\u00e8s la mi-course pour ne plus \u00eatre inqui\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Parti en 10\u00e8me position seulement, Antonio Cairoli, sur un circuit o\u00f9 les d\u00e9passements n’\u00e9taient pas ais\u00e9s, se d\u00e9battait toute la manche pour revenir in extremis en 3\u00e8me position derri\u00e8re De Dycker. Kevin Strijbos termine finalement 6\u00e8me.<\/p>\n

En Superfinale, Cairoli remettait les pendules \u00e0\u00a0 l’heure en remportant la manche mais Desalle pointait \u00e0\u00a0 une seconde place qui lui suffisait\u00a0pour s’offrir la victoire dans ce premier GP de la saison. Paulin \u00e9tait cette fois 3\u00e8me devant Bobryshev et le nouveau venu dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine Tommy Searle. Kevin Strijbos \u00e9tait 6\u00e8me, Ken De Dycker 8\u00e8me.<\/p>\n

Sans faute pour Herlings en MX2<\/strong><\/p>\n

En MX2, Jeffrey Herlings a connu davantage de r\u00e9ussite que dans la manche qualificative vendredi soir. Le champion en titre s’impose avec plus de 30 secondes d’avance sur Coldenhoff dans la premi\u00e8re manche avant de se montrer \u00e0\u00a0 nouveau le plus rapide de la cat\u00e9gorie en terminant 7\u00e8me dans la Superfinale.<\/p>\n

Le pilote KTM remporte logiquement la cat\u00e9gorie devant Dean Ferris (5+2) et Romain Febvre (4+3). Julien Lieber (8+10) prend la 9\u00e8me place. Quant \u00e0\u00a0 Kevin Fors, le pilote Kemea\/Reytec quitte le Qatar avec ses 7 premiers points de la saison en poche et une 19\u00e8me place au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n
