Du sable particuli\u00e8rement meuble qui a plu \u00e0\u00a0 un certain Jeffrey Herlings, invit\u00e9 par les organisateurs limbourgeois \u00e0\u00a0 venir prendre la mesure de notre championnat national. Vainqueur facile des 2 manches malgr\u00e9 un Kevin Strijbos tr\u00e8s rapide sur le Keiheuvel, le Hollandais a confirm\u00e9 \u00e0\u00a0 Balen qu&rsquo;il est bien le pilote de sable le plus rapide du moment.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-full wp-image-18762\" title=\"Derri\u00e8re Jeffrey Herlings, Kevin Strijbos s\\'est montr\u00e9 le plus rapide. Mais bien vite, c&rsquo;est Jeffrey Herlings qui pointe en seconde position. Le double champion du monde MX2 met la pression\u00a0sur l&rsquo;officiel\u00a0Suzuki et finit par trouver l&rsquo;ouverture. Impressionnant d&rsquo;aisance\u00a0dans le sable du Keiheuvel, Herlings s&rsquo;envole vers la victoire\u00a0et franchit le drapeau \u00e0\u00a0 damiers avec plus de 20 secondes d&rsquo;avance sur notre compatriote. \u00ab\u00a0J&rsquo;aurais d\u00e0\u00bb prendre \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de risques pour suivre le rythme impos\u00e9 par Herlings\u00a0\u00bb, commentait le pilote Suzuki sur la ligne d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e. \u00ab\u00a0Le GP de Belgique a lieu dans une semaine exactement, je ne voulais donc en aucun cas prendre le risque de me blesser. Actuellement, Herlings est vraiment Le sp\u00e9cialiste du sable !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Derri\u00e8re les 2 hommes, Ken De Dycker, un peu moins bien parti, est revenu tr\u00e8s fort en d\u00e9but de course avant de marquer le pas et de se contenter de la 3\u00e8me place devant De Reuver, Petrov, Nicholls\u00a0et J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek, superbement revenu \u00e0\u00a0 la 7\u00e8me place apr\u00e8s avoir chut\u00e9 au d\u00e9part. Lui aussi victime de 2 chutes dans cette manche de 25 minutes et un tour, Jo\u00ebl Roelants termine en 8\u00e8me place devant Simpson et Steve Ramon, \u00e0\u00a0 nouveau engag\u00e9 \u00e0\u00a0 Balen sur une Suzuki du team Geboers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De Dycker et Simpson assurent le spectacle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La seconde manche sera plus facile encore pour Herlings. En t\u00eate d\u00e8s les premiers instants, il gardait Kevin Strijbos \u00e0\u00a0 quelques m\u00e8tres derri\u00e8re lui en d\u00e9but de course avant de s&rsquo;\u00e9loigner irr\u00e9m\u00e9diablement. Derri\u00e8re le jeune hollandais, Ken De Dycker et Shaun Simpson se disputent la 3\u00e8me place. Ken est revenu dans la roue du pilote \u00e9cossais au prix de chronos qui lui valent de signer le meilleur temps en course.
