<\/a>La Fran\u00e7aise Livia Lancelot est entr\u00e9e dans l’histoire du motocross en devenant hier apr\u00e8s-midi à Lierop la premi\u00e8re championne du monde f\u00e9minine. En 2008, c’est en effet la premi\u00e8re fois qu’un titre mondial officiel est d\u00e9cern\u00e9 pour la cat\u00e9gorie f\u00e9minine. <\/p>\n

Engag\u00e9e dans la Coupe du monde f\u00e9minine depuis 2005, Livia Lancelot avait jusqu’à pr\u00e9sent manqu\u00e9 d’un brin de r\u00e9ussite et de chance que pour pouvoir pr\u00e9tendre au titre. Vice-championne l’an pass\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir termin\u00e9 sur la 3i\u00e8me marche du podium les 2 premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, la parisienne du team Kawasaki\/GPKR enl\u00e8ve enfin la couronne derri\u00e8re laquelle elle courrait donc depuis 4 ans.<\/p>\n

Entra\u00een\u00e9e par notre compatriote Laurent Brevers, la Parisienne a su, au contraire de ses adversaires directes, \u00e9viter les pi\u00e8ges et est parvenue à s’imposer quand il le fallait. Elle avait en effet remport\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape du championnat à Sevlievo avant de poursuivre sur de nombreux bons r\u00e9sultats et de cl\u00f4turer en beaut\u00e9 cette saison 2008 en s’imposant dans le sable de Lierop devant St\u00e9phanie Laier, la vice-championne du monde, et Ashley Fiolek.<\/p>\n

Si Brenda Wagemans (6+8) est notre meilleure repr\u00e9sentante à Lierop, Elien De Winter (9+10), qui a le m\u00e9rite de combiner la pratique du motocross avec la poursuite d’\u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures, a jou\u00e9 la carte de la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 tout au long du championnat et termine la saison à une honorable 8\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n
