Dans la foul\u00e9e de notre \u00e9quipe nationale au Motocross des Nations, l’\u00e9quipe belge engag\u00e9e dans la 42\u00e8me Coupe de l’Avenir s’est impos\u00e9e ce dimanche apr\u00e8s-midi. Emmen\u00e9s par le Braban\u00e7on Julien Van Stippen, vainqueur du classement individuel,\u00a0nos compatriotes devancent la Suisse et la Su\u00e8de.<\/p>\n

Un an apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e0\u00bb quitter son circuit d’Angreau pour le circuit de Nismes, la Coupe de l’Avenir, \u00e9tait de retour dans\u00a0la r\u00e9gion des\u00a0Hauts-Pays cette ann\u00e9e pour sa 42\u00e8me \u00e9dition. C’est \u00e0\u00a0 Baisieux, pr\u00e8s de Qui\u00e9vrain, le long de la fronti\u00e8re fran\u00e7aise, que l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux pilotes de moins de 21 ans a \u00e9lu domicile. Apr\u00e8s de nombreuses n\u00e9gociations avec les propri\u00e9taires locaux, c’est un magnifique trac\u00e9 naturel, baptis\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Le circuit de la ferme des Monts\u00a0\u00bb, qui attendait les pilotes engag\u00e9s dans cette manifestation au prestigieux palmar\u00e8s, n\u00e9e en 1967 sous l’impulsion de Jo\u00ebl Robert.<\/p>\n

La Belgique s’est souvent montr\u00e9e \u00e0\u00a0 son avantage dans cette course par \u00e9quipes nationales. Si la France avait remport\u00e9 l’\u00e9dition 2011, la Belgique avait renou\u00e9 avec la victoire d\u00e8s 2012, notamment gr\u00e0\u00a2ce \u00e0\u00a0 la superbe prestation de Yerki Janvier. Aujourd’hui, nos compatriotes ont \u00e0\u00a0 nouveau inscrit le nom de la Belgique au palmar\u00e8s de l’\u00e9preuve. Apr\u00e8s des pilotes comme Ramon, Van Horebeek ou Delinc\u00e9 avant Janvier l’an pass\u00e9, c’est cette fois Julien Van Stippen qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 l’homme fort du week-end.<\/p>\n

Vainqueur des 2 premi\u00e8res manches, il se contentait d’une sage seconde place derri\u00e8re son\u00a0co\u00e9quipier Jiliani Cambre pour remporter le classement individuel de l’\u00e9preuve devant\u00a0le Fran\u00e7ais Germain Jamet, habitu\u00e9 du championnat d’Europe MX2, et l’Allemand Bryan Hsu, champion du monde 85cc l’an pass\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Les co\u00e9quipiers de Van Stippen, Jiliani Cambre et Dietger Damiaens, engag\u00e9 au pied lev\u00e9 pour remplacer Damon Graulus, bless\u00e9, ont eux aussi livr\u00e9 de belles prestations qui ont port\u00e9 la Belgique sur la plus haute marche du podium. Cambre aurait d’ailleurs pu revendiquer la seconde marche du podium individuel sans un abandon en seconde manche alors qu’il pointait dans le top-5. Dietger Damiaens a quant \u00e0\u00a0 lui livr\u00e9 3 belles manches avec une 10\u00e8me, une 6\u00e8me puis une 5\u00e8me places.<\/p>\n

Chez les 85cc, on disputait la Coupe de l’Avenir pour la 8\u00e8me ann\u00e9e et ce sont les pilotes Su\u00e9dois qui sont mont\u00e9s sur la plus haute marche du podium en pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant la Belgique, l’Allemagne et la France.<\/p>\n
