Performances et agr\u00e9ment exceptionnels sont en effet au rendez-vous sur un quad qui ne conna\u00eet pas les compromis et qui permet &agrave; la marque aux 3 diapasons de red\u00e9finir, une nouvelle fois, le monde du quad.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-full wp-image-2194\" title=\"La ligne rac\u00e9e du YFZ 450-R est largement inspir\u00e9e du reste de la gamme du constructeur aux 3 diapasons. Pour se replacer dans la course, les ing\u00e9nieurs Yamaha ont travaill\u00e9 dur cet \u00e9t\u00e9 pour nous pr\u00e9senter aujourd&rsquo;hui leur tout nouveau YFZ 450-R. Un mod\u00e8le qui ne remplace pas le 450 YFZ mais qui vient plut\u00f4t compl\u00e9ter la gamme sportive de la marque. En s&rsquo;appuyant sur l&rsquo;excellente base du YFZ, les Japonais ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un quad sans compromis, taill\u00e9 pour la course jusque dans les moindres d\u00e9tails. Non seulement, l&rsquo;ensemble est consid\u00e9rablement \u00e9largi mais les amortisseurs Kayaba sont \u00e9galement in\u00e9dits. D\u00e9velopp\u00e9s pour le 450 YFZ-R, ils permettent de grands d\u00e9battements (250mm pour 230 seulement sur le 450 YFZ) et sont r\u00e9glables en compression comme en d\u00e9tente, haute et basse vitesse. A l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re, le bras oscillant a \u00e9t\u00e9 allong\u00e9 et permet ainsi de gagner 10mm en d\u00e9battement, lequel passe donc &agrave; 280mm.<\/p>\n<p>D&rsquo;un point de vue technique, les Japonais n&rsquo;ont pas l\u00e9sin\u00e9 sur les moyens puisque ils ont choisi d&rsquo;alimenter leur redoutable bloc 450 issu de la production cross de la marque par un syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;injection \u00e9lectronique, d\u00e9riv\u00e9 de celui utilis\u00e9 sur le Raptor 700.<br \/>\nCe bloc surpuissant est log\u00e9 dans un in\u00e9vitable cadre en aluminium, renforc\u00e9 par un alliage d&rsquo;acier afin d&rsquo;obtenir une rigidit\u00e9 optimale du ch\u00e0\u00a2ssis.<\/p>\n<p>Pour le look, pas de doute, c&rsquo;est un Yamaha. La selle est par exemple beaucoup plus fine et favorise les d\u00e9placements du pilote, tandis que le guidon sans barre de renfort en provenance de chez Pro Taper peut \u00eatre d\u00e9plac\u00e9 en fonction de la position du pontet (4 positions) sur la colonne, ce qui permet &agrave; tous les gabarits de se sentir &agrave; l&rsquo;aise.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9quipement, c&rsquo;est forc\u00e9ment rudimentaire mais n\u00e9anmoins suffisant avec notamment un petit tableau de bord qui int\u00e8gre un t\u00e9moin d&rsquo;essence, un indicateur de point-mort et un voyant de temp\u00e9rature.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"lightbox [diapo2]\" href=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/yfz_det5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-2195\" title=\"La nouvelle selle est particuli\u00e8rement fine au niveau du r\u00e9servoir. H\u00e9las, le circuit avait \u00e9t\u00e9 transform\u00e9 en immense bourbier par un violent orage matinal&#8230; M\u00eame si les conditions n&rsquo;ont donc pas \u00e9t\u00e9 id\u00e9ales, les quelques tours de piste effectu\u00e9s en fin de journ\u00e9e sur une piste en train de s\u00e9cher &agrave; grande vitesse ont n\u00e9anmoins permis de mettre en avant tout le bien-fond\u00e9 du travail de fond accompli par les ing\u00e9nieurs Yamaha.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performant mais accessible<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lorsque l&rsquo;on s&rsquo;assoit sur le 450 YFZ-R, on se sent imm\u00e9diatement bien. La nouvelle selle est confortable et les commandes tombent naturellement sous la main. Un pression du pouce droit sur le d\u00e9marreur \u00e9lectrique et le 450 4-temps d\u00e9marre, dans une discr\u00e9tion appr\u00e9ciable et assez \u00e9tonnante pour un bloc d&rsquo;un tel niveau de performances.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-full wp-image-2198\" title=\"Si le cadre alu et la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie \u00e9largie optimisent le comportement du 450 YFZ-R, ce sont surtout les nouveaux amortisseurs Kayaba qui font la diff\u00e9rence par rapport au \u00ab traditionnel \u00bb YFZ. \" src=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/yfz_action3.jpg\" data-orig-src=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/yfz_action3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27500%27%20height%3D%27320%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20500%20320%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27500%27%20height%3D%27320%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/fr.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/yfz_action3-300x192.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fr.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/yfz_action3.jpg 500w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" data-orig-sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res difficult\u00e9s, l&rsquo;\u00e9volution par rapport au 450 YZF est sensible, tant au niveau du moteur, tr\u00e8s lin\u00e9aire et particuli\u00e8rement bien rempli &agrave; bas et mi-r\u00e9gimes, que de la partie-cycle, remarquablement suspendue et offrant un comportement plut\u00f4t rassurant.<br \/>\nOn appr\u00e9cie \u00e9galement la relative facilit\u00e9 de prise en mains d&rsquo;un quad pourtant pens\u00e9 avant tout pour la comp\u00e9tition.
