La 4\u00e8me \u00e9preuve du championnat d’Europe EMX 250 se d\u00e9roulait ce week-end \u00e0 l’occasion du GP de Maggiora, en Italie. Notre compatriote Brent Van Doninck a une fois de plus prouv\u00e9 son excellent niveau dans ce championnat en terminant deuxi\u00e8me de la seconde manche, tout pr\u00e8s du leader du classement provisoire, le Britannique Steven Clarke. H\u00e9las, pris dans un accrochage au premier d\u00e9part, le pilote CreyMert Racing n’avait pu faire mieux que 18\u00e8me dans la premi\u00e8re manche apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 point\u00e9 au-del\u00e0 de la 30\u00e8me place dans le premier tour. Un contretemps qui prive Brent de podium en Italie malgr\u00e9 une vitesse de pointe qui lui permettait certainement d’y pr\u00e9tendre. Il garde cependant in extremis sa 3\u00e8me place au classement provisoire du championnat derri\u00e8re Clarke et Waston.<\/p>\n

En Italie, ce sont Sullivan Jaulin (1+6) et Steven Clarke (9+1) qui se sont partag\u00e9 les victoires tandis que le Danois Thomas Kjer Olsen (3+3) faisait parler la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 pour remporter le classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Ben Watson (2+10), auteur d’un week-end en demi-teinte \u00e0 Maggiora, perd quant \u00e0 lui quelques unit\u00e9s au classement provisoire du championnat o\u00f9 Clarke compte d\u00e9sormais 32 points d’avance sur son compatriote alors que Van Doninck et Kjer Olsen pointent tous les deux \u00e0 6 unit\u00e9s de Watson.<\/p>\n

Prochaine \u00e9preuve du championnat EMX250 \u00e0 Uddevalla, en Su\u00e8de, le 6 juillet prochain.<\/p>\n
