L’avant-derni\u00e8re manche du championnat d’Europe 250cc, disput\u00e9e le week-end dernier en Finlande, aurait pu voir notre compatriote Brent Van Doninck signer sa deuxi\u00e8me victoire de la saison. Le pilote CreyMert Racing d\u00e9butait le week-end de la meilleure des fa\u00e7ons en remportant la premi\u00e8re manche le samedi. Apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9part en seconde position, le pilote KTM se portait rapidement en t\u00eate du peloton pour ne plus la quitter et s’imposer devant les Hollandais Bogers et Kouwenberg. Watson \u00e9tait 4\u00e8me, Clarke, le leader du championnat, 14\u00e8me seulement apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9part en fin de peloton.<\/p>\n

La suite sera moins heureuse pour Van Doninck. Le dimanche, il prenait \u00e0 nouveau un excellent d\u00e9part dans la seconde manche mais chutait quelques tours plus tard, alors qu’il occupait la 5\u00e8me position. Il ne pourra revenir que 18\u00e8me alors que Bogers et Klein Kromhof prenaient les 2 premi\u00e8res places. Clarke terminait cette fois 5\u00e8me mais le Britannique ne compte plus que 11 points d’avance sur le Hollandais Bogers, vainqueur des 2 derni\u00e8res \u00e9preuves du championnat, pour arriver \u00e0 la finale de Lommel, les 2 et 3 ao\u00fbt prochains.<\/p>\n

Brent Van Doninck peut quant \u00e0 lui esp\u00e9rer conqu\u00e9rir \u00e0 Lommel la 3\u00e8me marche du podium final du championnat puisque seuls 6 points le s\u00e9parent du Britannique Ben Watson, en perte de vitesse sur les derni\u00e8res \u00e9preuves du championnat. Avec 5 pilotes qui se tiennent en seulement 36 points, la finale du championnat EMX250 s’annonce disput\u00e9e !<\/p>\n
