Avant de s’envoler pour le Br\u00e9sil et le Mexique, l’\u00e9lite du motocross mondial sera chez nous ce week-end, \u00e0 Lommel. Dans le sable limbourgeois, les pilotes des cat\u00e9gories MXGP et MX2 disputeront le 15\u00e8me GP de la saison. Lommel sera \u00e9galement la finale des championnats europ\u00e9ens 125, 150, 250 et 300cc. Le programme s’annonce donc charg\u00e9 !<\/p>\n

Avec 57 points d’avance sur J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek, second du championnat depuis le forfait de Cl\u00e9ment Desalle, bless\u00e9 au GP de Su\u00e8de, Antonio Cairoli a une avance confortable au championnat mais n’est pas encore tout \u00e0 fait assur\u00e9 de remporter un 8\u00e8me titre. A ce niveau de comp\u00e9tition, le moindre faux pas co\u00fbte tr\u00e8s cher et J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek, vainqueur le week-end pass\u00e9 \u00e0 Loket, se battra jusqu’au bout pour tenter de contrecarrer les plans de l’Italien. Devant son public, sur une surface qui lui r\u00e9ussit, l’officiel Yamaha voudra certainement poursuivre sur sa lanc\u00e9e et sera vraisemblablement un client s\u00e9rieux pour la victoire. Au m\u00eame titre que Kevin Strijbos, vainqueur d’une manche le week-end pass\u00e9 et sp\u00e9cialiste du sable par excellence.<\/p>\n

Un trio fran\u00e7ais en MX2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Avec la blessure de Jeffrey Herlings, la cat\u00e9gorie MX2 est plus ouverte que jamais. Les Fran\u00e7ais Jordi Tixier et Romain F\u00e8bvre n’ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi pr\u00e8s d’un premier titre mondial MX2. Les 2 compatriotes ne se feront pas de cadeaux dans un duel que ne manquera sans doute par d’arbitrer un trois\u00e8me Fran\u00e7ais, Dylan Ferrandis, distanc\u00e9 dans la course au titre mais capable de jouer la victoire.<\/p>\n

Dans les championnats europ\u00e9ens, quelques pilotes belges devraient se mettre eux aussi en \u00e9vidence devant leur public, qu’il s’agisse de Quentin Delbrassinne, 6\u00e8me du classement provisoire en EMX 150, de Cyril Genot, 13\u00e8me du provisoire 125cc mais surtout redoutable dans le sable, ou encore de Brent Van Doninck, vainqueur d’une manche en Finlande et \u00e0 6 points seulement de la 3\u00e8me marche du podium final du championnat !<\/p>\n
