J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek a domin\u00e9 de bout en bout la quatri\u00e8me manche des Belgian Masters of Motocross disput\u00e9e ce dimanche \u00e0 Orp-Le-Grand. Vainqueur des 2 manches, l’officiel Yamaha a fait un pas de plus vers un premier titre de champion de Belgique dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine. Deux fois deuxi\u00e8me, Kevin Strijbos n’a rien pu faire pour tenir le rythme de son compatriote. Davide Guarneri accompagne les 2 hommes sur le podium du jour.<\/p>\n

Battu chez lui \u00e0 Kester par un Kevin Strijbos survolt\u00e9, J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek entendait bien se resaisir \u00e0 Orp ce week-end. D’autant plus que le GP de Lommel \u00ab\u00a0manqu\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb laissait un souvenir amer au leader du championna de Belgique. \u00ab\u00a0J’ai envie de marquer le coup aujourd’hui\u00a0\u00bb, nous confiait-il apr\u00e8s les essais libres matinaux. \u00ab\u00a0Je me sens bien, j’aime bien la piste d’Orp et je dois dire que j’ai envie de me racheter d’un GP de Lommel tr\u00e8s d\u00e9cevant. Aujourd’hui, ma blessure n’est plus qu’un mauvais souvenir et je suis \u00e0 nouveau \u00e0 100%\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Une \u00e9tape d\u00e9cisive dans la course au titre<\/strong><\/p>\n

Face \u00e0 un J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek tr\u00e8s ambitieux donc, Kevin Strijbos est celui qui a le plus \u00e0 perdre \u00e0 Orp. S’il veut en effet conserver une chance d’\u00eatre titr\u00e9 \u00e0 Mont-Saint-Guibert en septembre, le pilote Suzuki doit \u00e0 tout prix devancer son rival afin de r\u00e9duire l’\u00e9cart de 14 points qui s\u00e9parent les 2 hommes en arrivant \u00e0 Orp. Les autres favoris que sont Romain F\u00e8bvre, Aleksandr Tonkov ou Davide Guarneri ne jouent pas le championnat mais ne sont pas \u00e0 Orp pour faire de la figuration. \u00ab\u00a0C’est toujours sympa de venir sur le championnnat belge\u00a0\u00bb, confie un Davide Guarneri particuli\u00e8rement enthousiaste. \u00ab\u00a0Le circuit d’Orp ressemble beaucoup aux circuits que l’on peut trouver en Italie, il devrait donc me convenir. Et, comme tout pilote qui se respecte, je prends toujours le d\u00e9part d’une course dans le but de gagner !\u00a0\u00bb Un Davide Guarneri confiant donc et qui a toutes les raisons de l’\u00eatre puisqu’il sera finalement le plus s\u00e9rieux concurrents de nos compatriotes Van Horebeek et Strijbos sur cette \u00e9preuve d’Orp.<\/p>\n

Davide Guarneri (391) a \u00e9t\u00e9 l’un des principaux animateurs du motocross d’Orp-Le-Grand. Il accompagne Van Horebeek et Strijbos sur le podium.<\/p><\/div>\n

Mais Van Horebeek n\u2019a \u00e0 aucun moment laiss\u00e9 planer l\u2019ombre d\u2019un doute sur l\u2019issue de cette 4\u00e8me manche du championnat de Belgique. Vainqueur en fin de matin\u00e9e de la manche qualificative devant un Kevin Strijbos pourtant tr\u00e8s rapide lui aussi, le leader du classement provisoire est parti en t\u00eate dans les deux manches de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi et n\u2019a jamais r\u00e9ellement \u00e9t\u00e9 inqui\u00e9t\u00e9. Et ce, malgr\u00e9 les efforts consentis par Strijbos pour tenter de garder la roue de la Yamaha n\u00b089. \u00ab En premi\u00e8re manche, je ne suis pas tr\u00e8s bien parti et j\u2019ai d\u00fb d\u2019abord me d\u00e9barrasser de Davide Guarneri \u00bb, explique le pilote Suzuki. \u00ab Quand j\u2019ai fini par trouver l\u2019ouverture, J\u00e9r\u00e9my \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 trop loin. \u00bb En seconde manche, Strijbos partait m\u00eame \u00e0 la faute en tentant de suivre le rythme endiabl\u00e9 imprim\u00e9 par la Yamaha de t\u00eate. \u00ab Je savais que Kevin devrait prendre des risques pour suivre mon ryhtme \u00bb, nous confie Van Horebeek juste avant de monter sur la plus haute marche du podium. \u00ab J\u2019avais raison puisqu\u2019il a fini par chuter dans un petit virage, ce qui m\u2019a permis de me mettre d\u00e9finitivement \u00e0 l\u2019abri. \u00bb Avant de poursuivre : \u00ab J\u2019ai repris 6 points \u00e0 Kevin aujourd\u2019hui. En arrivant avec 20 points de mieux que lui sur la finale de Mont-Saint-Guibert, je peux enfin penser \u00e0 un premier titre national dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine ! \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Battu \u00e0 deux reprises, Kevin Strijbos a en effet sans doute abandonn\u00e9 \u00e0 Orp ses derniers espoirs de titre. Mais le pilote Suzuki s\u2019est battu sans retenue et monte malgr\u00e9 sa chute sur la deuxi\u00e8me marche du podium ce dimanche. Derri\u00e8re nos deux compatriotes, l\u2019Italien Davide Guarneri prend la 3\u00e8me place apr\u00e8s avoir su contenir le talentueux Fran\u00e7ais Romain F\u00e8bvre, quatri\u00e8me devant son co\u00e9quipier russe Aleksandr Tonkov. Assez discret tout au long de la journ\u00e9e, Shaun Simpson se contente d’une 6\u00e8me place devant les 2 seuls autres pilotes belges du top-10, Jeffrey Dewulf et Steve Ramon.<\/p>\n
