La 9\u00e8me \u00e9dition du Supermoto des Nations a \u00e9t\u00e9 remport\u00e9e ce week -end par un intraitable team fran\u00e7ais. Avec chacun une victoire de manche, les fr\u00e8res Thomas et Adrien Chareyre ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les artisans de la victoire fran\u00e7aise en Italie alors que leur co\u00e9quipier Sylvain Bidart, 4\u00e8me puis second, tablait sur une remarquable r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 pour permettre aux tricolores de monter sur la plus haute marche du podium devant l’Italie et l’Allemagne.<\/p>\n

Absente depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, la Belgique alignait cette ann\u00e9e une \u00e9quipe au Supermoto des Nations. Le budget ne fut pas facile \u00e0 trouver mais une \u00e9quipe nationale compos\u00e9e de Ashley Barber, Romain Kaivers et S\u00e9bastien Bouillon avait finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9e il y a quelques semaines. Jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’une chute d’Ashley Barber lors du Superbiker de Mettet ne contraigne le coordinateur Supermoto \u00e0 lui trouver un rempla\u00e7ant au pied lev\u00e9. C’est finalement le v\u00e9t\u00e9ran Jean-Marc Gaillard qui se proposa de faire profiter l’\u00e9quipe belge de sa pr\u00e9cieuse exp\u00e9rience.<\/p>\n

Ecart\u00e9s dans un premier temps de la finale A suite \u00e0 une minute de p\u00e9nalit\u00e9 inflig\u00e9e pour un probl\u00e8me de bruit excessif de l’une des machines, nos compatriotes se faisaient remarquer en finale B puisque Romain Kaivers remportait la manche pendant que Jean-Marc Gaillard terminait 4\u00e8me et S\u00e9bastien Bouillon 6\u00e8me. De quoi leur permettre d’acc\u00e9der par la grande porte \u00e0 la finale A !<\/p>\n

Dans des courses particuli\u00e8rement relev\u00e9es en pr\u00e9sence des meilleurs pilotes de Supermoto du moment, Jean-Marc Gaillard, avec une belle 11\u00e8me place en 3\u00e8me manche, signe le meilleur r\u00e9sultat individuel parmi nos compatriotes. Le team noir\/jaune\/rouge flirtait d’ailleurs avec le top-10 avant le d\u00e9part de la 3\u00e8me et ultime manche de la journ\u00e9e, avant qu’un ennui m\u00e9canique rencontr\u00e9 par Romain Kaivers, ne repousse nos compatriotes jusqu’en 13\u00e8me position.<\/p>\n
