Douze mois plus tard, il s&rsquo;av\u00e8re que notre compatriote a relev\u00e9 avec brio le d\u00e9fi qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;\u00e9tait fix\u00e9 de faire briller d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e la 450 du prestigieux team italien, alors en mal de r\u00e9sultats. Un titre de vice-champion du monde est venu r\u00e9compenser le talent de \u00ab\u00a0Jerre\u00a0\u00bb et le professionnalisme de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de Michele Rinaldi. Un team 100% d\u00e9vou\u00e9 \u00e0 son pilote, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant d&rsquo;une exp\u00e9rience rare dans le paddock MXGP, qui nous a r\u00e9cemment invit\u00e9s \u00e0 venir juger le potentiel de ses machines. Le team Rinaldi nous attendait donc sur le circuit de Dorno, au sud de Milan, pour nous offrir la possibilit\u00e9 de prendre le guidon de ses 2 bijoux: la 450 YZM de J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek et la 250 YZM du Corse Christophe Charlier.<\/p>\n<p><em>Par Christophe Bertrand<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Auteur d\u2019une saison exemplaire ponctu\u00e9e par une place de vice-champion du monde derri\u00e8re l\u2019ind\u00e9boulonnable Tony Cairoli, notre compatriote Jeremy Van Horebeek a redonn\u00e9 le sourire au team Rinaldi apr\u00e8s une longue travers\u00e9e du d\u00e9sert et les nombreux titres de l\u2019\u00e8re Everts. Penchons-nous sur les raisons de ce retour aux avants postes de la marque aux 3 diapasons et les r\u00e9sultats percutants de J\u00e9r\u00e9my.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un duo presque gagnant\u00a0!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Elabor\u00e9e sur une base stock au niveau du ch\u00e2ssis, hormis un bras oscillant revisit\u00e9 pour am\u00e9liorer la traction, cette Yamaha b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie \u00e9videmment d\u2019un d\u00e9veloppement dans les moindres d\u00e9tails au sein des ateliers de Michele Rinaldi. Notez que Rinaldi s\u2019occupe de A \u00e0 Z du d\u00e9veloppement de ses motos (moteurs et suspensions), synonyme de confiance totale de la part de Yamaha. Les 2 modifications importantes sens\u00e9es am\u00e9liorer le confort du pilote et pas sp\u00e9cialement ses performances sont l\u2019apparition d\u2019un embrayage hydraulique BREMBO et surtout le fameux bouton magique, habituellement cruellement absent sur les japonaises.<\/p>\n<p>Rinaldi avait annonc\u00e9 une belle surprise au niveau modifications lors de la signature de J\u00e9r\u00e9my, celle-ci prendra forme avec l\u2019apparition du d\u00e9marreur \u00e9lectrique 2 semaines avant l\u2019ouverture du championnat d\u2019Italie en f\u00e9vrier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quel pied\u00a0!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s quelques petits r\u00e9glages de guidon et leviers (notre compatriote modifie ceux-ci en fonction de la surface du circuit, plus bas et en arri\u00e8re sur piste sablonneuse, plus droit sur piste dure), j\u2019ai l\u2019honneur d\u2019inaugurer la journ\u00e9e avec cette 450. Je ne vais pas faire la fine bouche, 14 journalistes tri\u00e9s sur le volet, c\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pas mal d\u2019en faire partie. Tour apr\u00e8s tour sur cette piste sablonneuse, je d\u00e9couvre une moto super saine et facile \u00e0 apprivoiser. Malgr\u00e9 une puissance plus que suffisante, c\u2019est vraiment s\u00e9curisant autant dans les airs qu\u2019au sol, on est loin de la moto \u00e9litiste exploitable uniquement par des pilotes surentra\u00een\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Au niveau suspensions, difficile de donner un avis tr\u00e8s objectif car la piste \u00e9tait relativement plate mais on travaille en souplesse. Je ne dois pas me battre pour la faire virer,\u2026 \u00e0 la limite,\u00a0 elle suit mon regard. Quelle facilit\u00e9 pour un gros cube !<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 certains virages serr\u00e9s, aucun coup de piston ou de calage, c\u2019est sain et accessible \u00e0 tous les niveaux de pilotage. Je ne vais pas mettre de b\u00e9mol, je n\u2019en ai pas trouv\u00e9, on touche ici \u00e0 l\u2019exceptionnel au niveau performances et \u00e9quipement. Jamais de fioritures chez Rinaldi, on va \u00e0 l\u2019essentiel. La machine de Van Horebeek est \u00e0 coup s\u00fbr la meilleure 450 qu\u2019il m\u2019ait \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9 d\u2019essayer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>YZF 250 \u00ab\u00a0Christophe Charlier\u00a0\u00bb : la bonne surprise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un petit mot sur cette Yamaha qui n\u2019a malheureusement pas r\u00e9alis\u00e9 les r\u00e9sultats escompt\u00e9s mais pour quelles raisons\u00a0? Tr\u00e8s similaire en apparence \u00e0 sa grande soeur, cette 250 d\u00e9gage \u00e9galement une sant\u00e9 de fer. Tr\u00e8s coupleuse, elle gomme ais\u00e9ment les petites erreurs de relance gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un couple fabuleux et une allonge tr\u00e8s progressive.
