En effet, le champion belge qui a tenu les r\u00eanes du MX2 jusqu\u2019ici chez KTM devrait apparemment orienter ses activit\u00e9s vers la formation de jeunes pilotes tels Davy Pootjes, Jorge Prado et Kim Savaste en m\u00eame temps qu\u2019il devrait prendre en charge la progression de son fils Liam, \u00e2g\u00e9 aujourd\u2019hui de dix ans.<\/p>\n<p>Everts a rejoint KTM fin 2006 et il a occup\u00e9 des fonctions de manager mais aussi d\u2019essayeur. C\u2019est ainsi q\u2019il a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rant dans le d\u00e9veloppement des suspensions des machines de cross destin\u00e9es \u00e0 la comp\u00e9tition de haut niveau mais \u00e9galement dans la cr\u00e9ation de la 350SX-F avec laquelle Antonio Cairoli a remport\u00e9 cinq couronnes mondiales. Stefan Everts va vraisemblablement se focaliser d\u00e9sormais davantage sur l\u2019entra\u00eenement et la comp\u00e9tition des jeunes pousses qui roulent en championnat d\u2019Europe et il ne s\u2019occupera donc plus des pilotes de Grand Prix comme Jeffrey Herlings et la nouvelle recrue, Paul Jonass.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9partement MXGP a \u00e9t\u00e9 octroy\u00e9 \u00e0 Claudio De Carli en 2010 tandis qu\u2019Everts \u00e9tait en charge du MX2 avec lequel il a connu une fin de saison 2014 tr\u00e8s difficile en devant g\u00e9rer la rivalit\u00e9 entre ses deux pilotes, Jeffrey Herlings et Jordi Tixier, tous deux en comp\u00e9tition pour le titre de champion du monde jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la derni\u00e8re \u00e9preuve et avec un Jeffrey Herlins pr\u00e9tendant rouler la derni\u00e8re course avec un f\u00e9mur cass\u00e9 et cela, malgr\u00e9 les strictes r\u00e9serves \u00e9mises par Everts.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de la cl\u00f4ture de la saison de MotoGP hier, \u00e0 Valence, Piet Beirer a d\u00e9clar\u00e9: \u2018\u2019Stefan ne quitte pas tout \u00e0 fait le MX2 car il reste notre \u2018directeur\u2019 motocross et nous avons l\u2019intention de continuer \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des motos avec lui en m\u00eame temps qu\u2019il sera impliqu\u00e9 dans la mise au point de notre strat\u00e9gie dans le domaine du motocross mais il y a quelque chose sur laquelle nous n\u2019avons aucune influence d\u2019un point de vue strictement professionnel, c\u2019est le fait que le fils de Stefan veut devenir un pilote professionnel. Je pense d\u00e8s lors qu\u2019on ne peut pas attendre d\u2019un d\u00e9cuple champion du monde qu\u2019il s\u2019occupe d\u2019autres pilotes. Nous voulons lui donner toute libert\u00e9 pour faire ce qu\u2019il veut faire et pour garder Liam sur une KTM. Dirk a travaill\u00e9 dur pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es et je suis confiant dans ses capacit\u00e9s \u00e0 reprendre le job de Stefan et \u00e0 collaborer avec des gens comme Valentina Ragni (Team Coordinator).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pierer de conclure:\u201cNous devons bien nous organiser car le team d\u2019usine se d\u00e9veloppe beaucoup avec trois pilotes, Claudio De Carli s\u2019occupant \u00e9galement de deux juniors. Harry (Everts) et Stefan ont \u00e9galement trois pilotes juniors dont ils doivent s\u2019occuper. Enfin, Robert (Jonas, Directeur de Course chez Husqvana) doit g\u00e9rer des teams d\u2019usine avec un total de cinq pilotes. Nous avons un tr\u00e8s gros projet \u00e0 mener \u00e0 bien et nous esp\u00e9rons qu\u2019il restera sain et couronn\u00e9 de succ\u00e8s.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Quant \u00e0 Herlings, il ne pense pas que le changement de fonction d\u2019Everts aura des cons\u00e9quences directes en ce qui le concerne. \u2018\u2019Au d\u00e9but, on a travaill\u00e9 beaucoup ensemble mais \u00e0 la fin, c\u2019\u00e9tait moins le cas,\u2019\u2019 affirme le pilote n\u00e9erlandais.\u2019\u2019 Lors des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, on ne travaillait plus beaucoup ensemble. Je travaillais avec Ruben (Ruben Tureluren, le beau-fr\u00e8re d\u2019Everts). Ces derniers temps, nous ne nous sommes pas beaucoup parl\u00e9, Stefan et moi. Non, je pense que les choses ne changeront pas tellement.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Everts reste un symbole puissant pour KTM. Ses paroles et sa pr\u00e9sence gardent toute leur influence dans les paddocks de Grand Prix.
