Le team Standing Construct Yamaha va se rendre \u00e0 Losail non seulement avec un mat\u00e9riel flambant neuf mais aussi avec deux pilotes d\u00e9cid\u00e9s a montrer tout leur potentiel. Le team belge, propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Tim Mathys qui en est \u00e9galement le manager, va rouler pour les \u2019bleus\u2019 cette ann\u00e9e et aura comme objectif de glaner un maximum de troph\u00e9es deux ans apr\u00e8s avoir remport\u00e9 son premier GP \u00e0 Matterley Basin avec Glenn Coldenhoff et un an apr\u00e8s \u00eatre mont\u00e9 deux fois sur le podium avec Valentin Guillod.<\/p>\n

Le team Standing Construct est le parfait exemple du team priv\u00e9 qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie du support technique de l\u2019usine. Standing Construct va toutefois devoir se d\u00e9brouiller pour assumer sa participation \u00e0 un championnat tr\u00e8s fourni qui pr\u00e9voit notamment six d\u00e9placements outre-mer. C\u2019est ainsi que pour le d\u00e9placement au Qatar et en Tha\u00eflande \u00e0 l\u2019occasion des deux premiers GP de la saison, le budget investi sera d\u2019environ 40.000 \u20ac. Le budget de Standing Construct sera pourtant sensiblement \u00e9quivalent \u00e0 celui de l\u2019an dernier. Avec son franc parler habituel, Paul Mathys affirme \u00e0 ce sujet:\u00a0\u00bb Notre budget n\u2019a pas tellement \u00e9t\u00e9 augment\u00e9. C\u2019est vrai que ce n\u2019est pas facile de rassembler un budget pour participer \u00e0 tous les GP et il y a quelques teams qui se plaignent. La v\u00e9rit\u00e9, c\u2019est que si tu ne supportes pas la chaleur, alors n\u2019entre pas dans la cuisine!\u00a0 Les voyages font maintenant partie intrins\u00e8que du budget d\u2019un team et cela ne changera pas. Lorsque tu poss\u00e8des un team, tu sais que tu dois participer \u00e0 ces courses outre-mer si tu veux prendre une part active au championnat du monde.\u00a0Nous b\u00e9n\u00e9ficions d\u2019un soutien appr\u00e9ciable de Yamaha mais pour tout ce qui concerne les frais de voyage, ceux-ci sont couverts par les sponsors et Standing Construct. A ce sujet, j\u2019ai vraiment la chance de pouvoir b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier du soutien de partenaires formidables.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Outre les frais de voyage, Paul Mathys met en lumi\u00e8re les frais inh\u00e9rents \u00e0 un team de MX2 o\u00f9 des pilotes tels que Vincent Guillod et Julien Lieber voudront tirer un maximum du potentiel de la YZ250F. \u00ab\u00a0Si tu veux avoir un team comp\u00e9titif en MX2, c\u2019est \u00e0 dire un team capable de travailler correctement sur les moteurs, je dirais qu\u2019il te faut un budget plus important que pour un team roulant en MXGP,\u00a0\u00bb affirme Mathys. \u00ab\u00a0Nous tentons de tirer un maximum de couple et de puissance du moteur, ce qui est capital pour une 250. Nous travaillons avec Akira, une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019ing\u00e9nierie fran\u00e7aise, et cela co\u00fbte \u00e9norm\u00e9ment d\u2019argent mais comme nous voulons des r\u00e9sultats\u2026 C\u2019est peut-\u00eatre une des raisons pour lesquelles le MX2 me passionne tellement. En effet, la moto et le moteur ont une importance capitale. C\u2019est quelque chose qui maintient ta motivation. Chaque fois qu\u2019on met un moteur au banc et qu\u2019on constate qu\u2019on a encore gagn\u00e9 de la puissance, cela m\u2019aide \u00e0 bien dormir la nuit et cela me pousse \u00e0 travailler plus dur dans mon entreprise de construction.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Outre les moyens financiers engag\u00e9s pour r\u00e9aliser un maximum de r\u00e9sultats cette ann\u00e9e, le Standing Construct team devra \u00e9galement s\u2019adapter \u00e0 une nouvelle moto et ce sera la premi\u00e8re fois que le team change de marque depuis qu\u2019il roule en GP. Ce sera donc une saison de transition. \u00ab\u00a0Quand nous roulions sur KTM, c\u2019\u00e9tait plus facile car nous savions comment faire avec eux et nous b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiions d\u2019un excellent soutien. Je tiens d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 remercier encore une fois Robert Jonas \u00e0 ce sujet,\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9clare Mathys.\u00a0\u00bbMalgr\u00e9 tout, je voulais absolument accepter l\u2019offre qui nous \u00e9tait faite par Yamaha. Cela signifie que nous avons \u00e0 prendre en charge une toute nouvelle moto et un nouveau moteur. Toutefois, j\u2019ose pr\u00e9tendre que nous avons les bonnes personnes dans le team pour faire le boulot proprement.
