La blessure est \u00e0 ce point grave qu\u2019on peut craindre que le jeune homme de vingt-deux ans ne puisse non seulement plus rouler \u00e0 moto mais qu\u2019il reste \u00e9galement handicap\u00e9 dans sa vie de tous les jours.<\/p>\n<p>Pocock, un des favoris dans la course au titre du championnat britannique cette ann\u00e9e, est tomb\u00e9 au d\u00e9but de la premi\u00e8re manche MX2 en ne pouvant \u00e9viter un concurrent qui se trouvait d\u00e9j\u00e0 au sol. Selon le manager du Monster Energy DRT Kawasaki Team, Steve Dixon, il se pourrait que la main de Pocock soit entr\u00e9e en contact avec la cha\u00eene et la roue arri\u00e8re de sa moto. \u00ab\u00a0C\u2019\u00e9tait comme dans un film d\u2019horreur. Le bras de Mel avait l\u2019air d\u2019\u00eatre pass\u00e9 \u00e0 travers un hachoir \u00e0 viande,\u00a0\u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Dixon.\u00a0\u00bb Nous \u00e9tions tous extr\u00eamement choqu\u00e9s par ce qui \u00e9tait arriv\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Une pol\u00e9mique a surgi \u00e9galement concernant le temps qu\u2019il a fallu pour que Pocock soit transport\u00e9 vers un h\u00f4pital. En effet, il semble que le pilote n\u2019ait quitt\u00e9 le circuit qu\u2019au bout d\u2019environ une heure apr\u00e8s son accident.Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 transport\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital de Derby o\u00f9 des sp\u00e9cialistes de la main on pu l\u2019examiner.<\/p>\n<p>Il est \u00e9vident que Pocock va conna\u00eetre une longue p\u00e9riode de convalescence et de revalidation.
