Une semaine apr\u00e8s s’\u00eatre ouvert \u00e0 Trentino le week-end dernier, le championnat d’Europe 125 cc s’est poursuivi ce week-end \u00e0 Valkenswaard. Au sol dur de l’Italie, succ\u00e9dait donc le sable de Valkenswaard. Des conditions qu’affectionne particuli\u00e8rement Cyril Genot. Il n’a d’ailleurs pas manqu\u00e9 le rendez-vous hollandais. Au guidon de sa Husqvarna 125cc priv\u00e9e, notre compatriote a en effet rivalis\u00e9 avec les meilleurs tout au long du week-end.<\/p>\n

Troisi\u00e8me de la premi\u00e8re manche samedi, il occupait \u00e0 nouveau la m\u00eame position derri\u00e8re le Finlandais Sihvonen et le Hollandais van Kraaji dans la seconde manche aujourd’hui lorsqu’une petite erreur le repoussait en 6\u00e8me position. Tandis que devant Sihvonen parvenait \u00e0 contenir la remont\u00e9e de Jorge Prado, Genot revenait en 4\u00e8me position derri\u00e8re le Fran\u00e7ais Maxime Renaux, seulement 10\u00e8me samedi. Contraint \u00e0 l’abandon samedi, Nathan Renkens prenait aujourd’hui une belle revanche en revenant jusqu’\u00e0 la 8\u00e8me place d’un d\u00e9part en 12\u00e8me position.<\/p>\n

La 4\u00e8me place arrach\u00e9e ce dimanche permet \u00e0 Cyril Genot de monter sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium du GP derri\u00e8re les pilotes KTM Sihvonen et Prado.<\/p>\n

Au classement provisoire, Sihvonen et Prado sont toujours s\u00e9par\u00e9s d’un seul petit point alors que Genot fait un bond en 7\u00e8me position, \u00e0 5 points seulement de la 4\u00e8me place de l’officiel KTM Josiah Natzke.<\/p>\n

Prochaine \u00e9preuve du championnat d’Europe 125cc: le 10 mai \u00e0 Talavera de la Reina, en Espagne.<\/p>\n
