Le 4\u00e8me round du championnat d’Europe 125cc a souri \u00e0 Maxime Renaux. Sur le circuit de Matterley Basin, en Grande-Bretagne, le Fran\u00e7ais a sign\u00e9 son second succ\u00e8s de la saison apr\u00e8s celui de Trentino lors de l’\u00e9preuve d’ouverture du championnat. Vainqueur le samedi de la premi\u00e8re manche devant le pilote local Conrad Mewse, le pilote Kemea\/Yamaha terminait 3\u00e8me de la seconde manche derri\u00e8re le duo du Junior Team KTM Mewse\/Natzke. La direction de course imposait une p\u00e9nalit\u00e9 de 10 places \u00e0 Conrad Mewse pour avoir pris le risque de passer un saut malgr\u00e9 les drapeaux jaunes agit\u00e9s, ce qui offrait la victoire \u00e0 Renaux. Le jeune Fran\u00e7ais monte donc sur la plus haute marche du podium devant Natzke et Prado.<\/p>\n

Au championnat, Prado m\u00e8ne toujours la danse mais perd 14 points sur Renaux qui revient \u00e0 5 points de l’Espagnol tandis que Natzke accuse d\u00e9j\u00e0 23 points de retard.<\/p>\n

Avec ses 13\u00e8me et 9\u00e8me places dans les manches britanniques, Nathan Renkens est le meilleur de nos repr\u00e9sentants devant Jago Geerts (20+12) qui poursuit son apprentissage de la cat\u00e9gorie. Tr\u00e8s rapide lors des essais avec notamment le meilleur temps du groupe B, Cyril Genot disparaissait de la premi\u00e8re manche alors qu’il occupait la 11\u00e8me place. Dans la deuxi\u00e8me, le pilote Husqvarna remontera d’un premier passage en queue de peloton jusqu’\u00e0 la 18\u00e8me place. Au classement provisoire, Cyril occupe d\u00e9sormais le 11\u00e8me rang, 2 places devant Nathan Renkens, 13\u00e8me.<\/p>\n
