Battu sur les deux derniers GP par le Suisse Valentin Guillod, Jeffrey Herlings a rappel\u00e9 ce dimanche \u00e0 Villars-Sous-Ecot que c’est bien lui qui reste le patron de la cat\u00e9gorie. Le pilote hollandais a remport\u00e9 les 2 manches du GP de France. Une performance qu’il n’\u00e9tait plus parvenu \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser depuis le GP d’Europe et le sable de Valkenswaard.<\/p>\n

Dans des conditions tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes et pas n\u00e9cessairement \u00e0 son avantage, le sol du circuit de Villars-Sous-Ecot \u00e9tant tr\u00e8s dur et plut\u00f4t glissant, Herlings a connu un d\u00e9but de week-end difficile avec une casse m\u00e9canique samedi en fin de manche qualificative. Mal plac\u00e9 sur la grille de d\u00e9part ce dimanche, l’officiel KTM a pourtant r\u00e9ussi\u00a0 deux excellents d\u00e9parts qui l’on d’embl\u00e9e propuls\u00e9 en t\u00eate de la course par deux fois.<\/p>\n

Dans la premi\u00e8re manche, Herlings a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 observer ses adversaires en d\u00e9but de course et se laisser d\u00e9border successivement par Jordi Tixier puis par Valentin Guillod. Le Suisse semble en mesure de remporter un nouvelle victoire et prend la t\u00eate de la course devant Tixier. C’\u00e9tait sans compter sur le retour de Herlings, qui passe un tour plus tard le Fran\u00e7ais avant de partir \u00e0 l’assaut de Guillod et de parvenir \u00e0 le passer \u00e0 3 tours de l’arriv\u00e9e pour signer son premier succ\u00e8s du jour.<\/p>\n

La seconde manche sera plus facile pour Herlings. Valentin Guillod et Jordi Tixier sont en effet moins bien partis. Dans le premier tour, le pilote Standing Construct\/Yamaha s’accroche en effet violemment sur un saut avec Damon Graulus et repart tr\u00e8s attard\u00e9. Guillod \u00e9limin\u00e9 de la course \u00e0 la victoire (il remontera en 13\u00e8me position), Tixier coinc\u00e9 derri\u00e8re Tim Gasjer et Pauls Jonass, Herlings a le champ libre pour voler vers le doubl\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re, Gasjer conservera sa seconde place \u00e0 5 secondes seulement du double champion du monde alors que c’est Tixier qui prend la 3\u00e8me place devant Pauls Jonass, des positions qui \u00e9taient acquises d\u00e8s le 4\u00e8me tour de course.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey Herlings remporte donc en France son 4\u00e8me GP de la saison devant le Slov\u00e8ne Gasjer et le Fran\u00e7ais Tixier et conforte son leadership au championnat o\u00f9 Guillod ne compte plus qu’un petit point d’avance en seconde position sur Pauls Jonass.<\/p>\n

C\u00f4t\u00e9 belge, Julien Lieber a sign\u00e9 une belle premi\u00e8re manche qu’il termine en 8\u00e8me position apr\u00e8s \u00eatre revenu d’un d\u00e9part dans le top-15 alors que Graulus, de passage sur le championnat en l’absence d’\u00e9preuve EMX 250, signait une encourageante premi\u00e8re manche en terminant 13\u00e8me juste devant Getteman. En seconde manche, seuls Lieber (17\u00e8me) et Getteman (19\u00e8me) marquent des points.<\/p>\n
