Deux jours de spectacle pour l’\u00e9quipe de Mika\u00ebl Despontin sur le circuit de Gesves, avec le samedi des \u00e9preuves pour quads, non licenci\u00e9s et la premi\u00e8re manche de la KTM Cup 2009, \u00e9preuves disput\u00e9es sur un terrain humide mais n\u00e9anmoins praticable, et le dimanche le programme habituel de l’AMPL avec l’avant-derni\u00e8re manche du championnat de printemps. A part quelques probl\u00e8mes le matin pour l’acc\u00e8s aux parkings (les tracteurs n’ont pourtant pas ch\u00f4m\u00e9…) le circuit lui-m\u00eame quelque peu glissant et boueux lors des entra\u00eenements s’est bien vite dess\u00e9ch\u00e9 et ce circuit naturel et technique a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ecolages<\/strong><\/p>\n

19 \u00e9colages 50 cc seulement au d\u00e9part de la premi\u00e8re course domin\u00e9e de bout en bout par A. Bours devant A. Simens qui s’empare du second fauteuil au dernier tour au regret de R. Delbrassinne. Bours part de nouveau sur les chapeaux de roue dans la seconde confrontation mais d\u00e8s le 3\u00b0 tour, A. Simens qui a saut\u00e9 dans sa roue s’empare du commandement et d\u00e9croche le bouquet..<\/p>\n

Dans le groupe des 65, C. Talbot et L. Bral, les deux leaders du championnat ne se font pas de cadeau et se partagent les troph\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Pas de probl\u00e8me chez les 85 moins de 13 ans avec un nouveau doubl\u00e9 de W. Devillet qui ne quitte jamais la premi\u00e8re place s’imposant en 1\u00e8re manche devant le jeune B. Doneux, le champion de la saison \u00e9coul\u00e9e, et dans la seconde il franchit la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e devant B. Mazzoni, un habitu\u00e9 à ce premier accessit.<\/p>\n

Chez les plus de 13 ans, \u00e9preuve à oublier pour A. Volral, l’actuel leader du championnat qui rate chaque fois son d\u00e9part ( 18\u00b0 en premi\u00e8re manche et 10\u00b0 dans la seconde) et se retrouve finalement en 4\u00b0position. S Dosquet ne quitte jamais le commandement en premi\u00e8re manche et franchit la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e avec 4 sec. d’avance sur J. Leclercq, revenu de la 10\u00b0place. Ce pilote ne quitte jamais la premi\u00e8re place dans le second d\u00e9bat et gr\u00e0\u00a2ce à sa victoire il se retrouve à 4 points de Volral pour le championnat (du suspense dimanche à Haid).<\/p>\n

D\u00e9butants<\/strong><\/p>\n

57 d\u00e9butants MX2 inscrits ce dimanche et les s\u00e9ries \u00e9liminatoires sont remport\u00e9es par J. Henrard dans le groupe impair et par G. Lillo dans le groupe pair (ces deux pilotes ne quittent jamais la premi\u00e8re place). M. Goffin va cr\u00e9er la surprise dans la finale et jamais il ne quitte la direction du peloton s’imposant pour la premi\u00e8re fois devant J. Henrard et J. Moreau, positions acquises d\u00e8s le premier tour.<\/p>\n

Pas moins de 43 pilotes au d\u00e9part de la cat\u00e9gorie MX1 et d\u00e8s la chute de la barre, G. Lommers, d\u00e9jà double vainqueur à St L\u00e9ger, prend un d\u00e9part de choix devant L. Nicolas, A. Zuchelli.et H. Debatty. L’homme de t\u00eate r\u00e9siste tr\u00e8s bien à ses poursuivants qui se disputent le premier accessit et Zuccheli sort vainqueur de ce duel devant Debatty. Celui-ci prend sa revanche dans le second d\u00e9bat et d\u00e8s le second tour il ravit la premi\u00e8re place à Ch. Beguin.<\/p>\n

Juniors<\/strong><\/p>\n

D\u00e8s la chute de la barre, B. Vanden Driessche bondit en t\u00eate du peloton devant F. Monfort, M. Louis et L. Brevers qui s’installe rapidement en premi\u00e8re loge et son avance ira crescendo pour terminer avec 23 sec. d’avance sur M. Louis.. Ayant rat\u00e9 son d\u00e9part en premi\u00e8re manche, J. H\u00e9bette, l’actuel leader du championnat, veut prendre sa revanche et bien que s’\u00e9lan\u00e7ant en 4\u00b0position il remonte un à un ses adversaires et au dernier tour il ravit le bouquet à L. Brevers en t\u00eate depuis le d\u00e9but.<\/p>\n

Chez les quarts de litres, sc\u00e9nario identique dans les deux manches du moins pour les premi\u00e8res places avec chaque fois un d\u00e9part en t\u00eate pour St. Dubois qui conserve cet avantage durant 2 boucles avant de s’incliner devant J. Wilmart qui r\u00e9alise son premier doubl\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Seniors<\/strong><\/p>\n

Q. Wester r\u00e9ussit parfaitement son d\u00e9part dans le groupe MX2 devant S. Thielens qui lui ravit le commandement d\u00e8s le second tour. Le nouveau leader doit alors repousser les attaques de K. Banckaert, le leader du championnat qui se retrouve au premier rang à 3 tours de la fin. Le nouveau meneur ne peut tenir t\u00eate à Thielens qui franchit la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e avec 9 sec. d’avance. Coup de malchance au d\u00e9part du second d\u00e9bat pour Thielens qui est bouscul\u00e9 par un autre concurrent et enferm\u00e9 dans le peloton il est point\u00e9 20\u00b0 à la fin du premier tour. L. Pirot en a profit\u00e9 pour prendre la direction du groupe et il ne quitte jamais cette place de choix s’imposant devant Wester .<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Pas de probl\u00e8me pour K. Demarco dans la cat\u00e9gorie MX1 puisqu’il s’impose dans les deux manches avec une avance confortable sur le nouveau venu A. Decalf tr\u00e8s bien revenu apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9part h\u00e9sitant (10\u00b0 et 8\u00b0). Avec 7 victoires sur les 8 manches , Demarco est pratiquement assur\u00e9 du titre.<\/p>\n

Inters<\/strong><\/p>\n

32 inters seulement à Gesves, un nombre vraiment insuffisant alors qu’en d\u00e9but de saison ils sont 48 inscrits… (le probl\u00e8me d’une cat\u00e9gorie unique open semble d\u00e9courager certains concurrents). E Hubin vire en t\u00eate du peloton devant Y. Hella et S. Piret et ces positions ne changeront plus, A noter que 10 pilotes seulement terminent dans le m\u00eame tour, c’est dire le rythme impos\u00e9 par les t\u00e9nors.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Dans la seconde manche, nouvelle envol\u00e9e de Hubin devant le licenci\u00e9 d’un jour M. Fraikin qui conserve cet avantage durant 3 tours avant de passer le relais à Y. Hella talonn\u00e9 par L. Lacasse et C. Maquet.. Hubin tr\u00e8s à l’aise en fin de parcours, franchit la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e avec 9 sec. d’avance sur Hella et 19 sec. sur Maquet.
\nLa derni\u00e8re manche sera un peu plus anim\u00e9e avec notamment une beau duel opposant Hubin et Lacasse qui finit par s’imposer et remporte sa premi\u00e8re victoire de la saison.<\/p>\n
