Le Britannique Max Anstie a domin\u00e9 le 12\u00e8me rendez-vous de la saison MXGP ce dimanche dans la cat\u00e9gorie MX2. Le pilote Kawasaki Monster Energy\/DRT s’est impos\u00e9 \u00e0 deux reprises devant Pauls Jonass, privant par la m\u00eame occasion le Letton d’un succ\u00e8s devant son public sur le trac\u00e9 sablonneux de Kegums. Le Finlandais Harri Kullas accompagne les deux hommes sur la 3\u00e8me marche d’un podium in\u00e9dit.<\/p>\n

Max Anstie aime les parcours sablonneux. Le Britannique s’\u00e9tait d’ailleurs impos\u00e9 l’\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier pour la premi\u00e8re fois de sa carri\u00e8re dans un Grand-Prix MX2 chez nous, dans le sable de Lommel. Ce week-end \u00e0 Kegums, Anstie a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le week-end parfait: vainqueur de la manche qualificative le samedi, il a remport\u00e9 les deux manches cet apr\u00e8s-midi. Il monte ainsi pour la premi\u00e8re fois cette saison sur la plus haute marche du podium, 3 semaines apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9j\u00e0 remport\u00e9 une manche du GP d’Allemagne \u00e0 Teutschenthal. Il met ainsi fin \u00e0 la s\u00e9rie de succ\u00e8s de Tim Gasjer, vainqueur des 3 derniers GP en date dans la cat\u00e9gorie.<\/p>\n

En l’absence de Jeffrey Herlings, bless\u00e9 le week-end dernier en Su\u00e8de, le GP de Kegums s’annon\u00e7ait tr\u00e8s ouvert et sans doute Pauls Jonass, qui \u00e9tait pass\u00e9 tout pr\u00e8s de l’\u00e9limination la semaine pass\u00e9e apr\u00e8s une grosse chute \u00e0 Uddevalla, esp\u00e9rait-il offrir \u00e0 son public son premier succ\u00e8s de la saison. Le prot\u00e9g\u00e9 de Stefan Everts signe d’ailleurs ce week-end son meilleur r\u00e9sultat de la saison. Parti en t\u00eate de la premi\u00e8re manche, il devra baisser pavillon face \u00e0 Anstie, revenu de la 5\u00e8me place, \u00e0 5 tours de la fin. Dans la seconde, il devra se contenter de garder la deuxi\u00e8me position derri\u00e8re l’intouchable Anstie. Avec 2 deuxi\u00e8mes places au compteur, Jonass marque n\u00e9anmoins de gros points pour le championnat et revient \u00e0 un tout petit point de la 3\u00e8me place de Valentin Guillod, qui a connu un week-end difficile \u00e0 Kegums.<\/p>\n

Revenu en 7\u00e8me position apr\u00e8s avoir chut\u00e9 en tout d\u00e9but de premi\u00e8re manche, Tim Gasjer termine 4\u00e8me de la deuxi\u00e8me et prend la 5\u00e8me place au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral derri\u00e8re le Suisse Seewer (4+5).<\/p>\n

C\u00f4t\u00e9 belge,\u00a0 on notera la belle 7\u00e8me place de Jens Getteman (20+7), de retour de blessure, en deuxi\u00e8me manche. Julien Lieber prend quant \u00e0 lui une 13\u00e8me puis une 10\u00e8me places dans les manches et conserve sa 8\u00e8me place au classement provisoire, o\u00f9 Max Anstie r\u00e9alise un bon en 7\u00e8me position.<\/p>\n

Le week-end en demi-teinte de Tim Gasjer permet \u00e0 Jeffrey Herlings, qui devrait \u00eatre de retour d\u00e8s le prochain GP \u00e0 Loket les 25 et 26 juillet, de conserver 46 points d’avance au championnat sur le pilote slov\u00e8ne. Guillod et Jonass sont respectivement \u00e0 71 et 72 points du leadership.<\/p>\n
