La campagne 2008 a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e au \u00ab\u00a0Domaine de Trial et Enduro\u00a0\u00bb à Bilstain, o\u00f9 L\u00e9on Crosset pr\u00e9sentait pour la quatri\u00e8me fois un plateau relev\u00e9. La prime attribu\u00e9e au vainqueur (2500 Euros) avait m\u00eame attir\u00e9 quelques concurrents \u00e9trangers. La comp\u00e9tition entrait en ligne de compte pour le championnat de Belgique. En cat\u00e9gorie Prestige Open, on y cherchait le successeur du champion sortant, Marc Fraikin.<\/p>\n

Samedi : le soleil finit par remplacer la pluie<\/strong><\/p>\n

La pluie ininterrompue faisait ressembler les essais chronom\u00e9tr\u00e9s à un ballet aquatique, mais le soleil pointait tout de m\u00eame son nez au moment de la premi\u00e8re course. En Juniors Open, Dave Verniers s’imposait devant Kurt Duprez et Gregory Holvoet.<\/p>\n

\"Sur<\/p>\n

De Leeuw restait le ma\u00eetre en Espoirs\/Nationaux 125cc, devant Kenneth Dekindt qui devan\u00e7ait le Fran\u00e7ais Thomas Verscheure. En Nationaux 450cc, Olivier Scheen s’imposait devant Vincent Fayt et Tony Bogaert, tandis qu’en 650cc Benoit Monseu gagnait de bout en bout devant les duellistes Benoit Lievens et Tom Van Wezemael.<\/p>\n

\"Victoire<\/p>\n

La s\u00e9ance d’essais libres de la cat\u00e9gorie Prestige voyait G\u00e9rald Del\u00e9pine devancer Jean-Marc Gaillard et Damien Denil. Kevin Vieillevoye n’obtenait pas l’autorisation de participer du m\u00e9decin ni de son team manager, afin d’\u00e9viter de nouveaux d\u00e9g\u00e0\u00a2ts à son genou convalescent.<\/p>\n

Dimanche : la neige remplace la pluie<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chez les Espoirs\/Nationaux 125\/250cc Kenneth Dekindt s’assurait la victoire finale en dominant la deuxi\u00e8me manche de bout en bout. Le podium final \u00e9tait compl\u00e9t\u00e9 par Verschuere et, pour la premi\u00e8re fois, par Cromphout. Chez les Nationaux 650cc, Monseu ne rencontrait aucune opposition et s’imposait au classement final devant Van Wezemael et Lievens.<\/p>\n

\"Olivier<\/p>\n

Scheen confirmait son premier succ\u00e8s en Nationaux 450cc, personne n’\u00e9tant à m\u00eame de rester dans son sillage. Ashley Barber d\u00e9rapait alors qu’il \u00e9tait deuxi\u00e8me, et voyait Fayt et Tony Bogaert le d\u00e9passer. C’est dans cet ordre qu’ils rejoignaient la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e, et le r\u00e9sultat de la deuxi\u00e8me manche constituait aussi le podium final.
\nGino Gabriel remportait la deuxi\u00e8me manche chez les Juniors Open. Verniers, vainqueur samedi, subissait une crevaison à l’avant d\u00e8s le premier tour, et devait laisser filer. Le classement final de cette cat\u00e9gorie voyait Gabriel s’imposer devant Bernard et Duprez.<\/p>\n

Premi\u00e8re manche Prestige : Del\u00e9pine le moins malchanceux<\/strong><\/p>\n

Del\u00e9pine, qui avait r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le meilleur chrono, s’\u00e9lan\u00e7ait en t\u00eate devant Crosset, Fraikin, Seel et Denil. Il semblait devoir s’imposer sans probl\u00e8me, lorsqu’un petit probl\u00e8me technique le privait temporairement de sa poign\u00e9e de gaz. Fraikin et Crosset en profitaient pour le d\u00e9passer. Son probl\u00e8me solutionn\u00e9, Del\u00e9pine s’imposait à Crosset juste au moment o\u00f9 le pneu arri\u00e8re de Fraikin rendait l’\u00e0\u00a2me, l’obligeant à changer de roue pour finalement terminer 22\u00e8me. Del\u00e9pine ne rencontrait plus d’ennuis et s’imposait devant Gaillard, parti sixi\u00e8me, et le pilote local Crosset. Micha\u00ebl Paul terminait quatri\u00e8me devant Seel et Fiorentino, parti loin sur la grille suite à une erreur en qualifications.<\/p>\n

Deuxi\u00e8me manche Prestige : Del\u00e9pine en vitesse de croisi\u00e8re<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le champion du monde en titre partait à nouveau en t\u00eate devant Seel, De Marco, Gaillard, Paul, Crosset, Van Drunen et Delannoy. Del\u00e9pine, sur sa Husqvarna, pla\u00e7ait la barre tr\u00e8s haut, au point de l\u00e0\u00a2cher tout ses adversaires. Seel, sur sa Suziki, n’\u00e9tait pas plus inqui\u00e9t\u00e9. Gaillard et De Marco s’accrochaient dans le bois, et \u00e9taient renvoy\u00e9s loin au classement, ce qui permettait à Fraikin, parti dixi\u00e8me, de se retrouver troisi\u00e8me.
\nPaul terminait quatri\u00e8me devant Crosset, Delannoy, Van Drunen, Dejong et le jeune Ronny Fryns. Le podium final \u00e9tait compos\u00e9 de Del\u00e9pine devant Seel et Crosset. Paul terminait quatri\u00e8me devant Gaillard, Fraikin, Delannoy, Van Drunen, Fiorentino et Lionel Deridder. Tous ces pilotes pouvaient participer à la Superfinale, o\u00f9 ils rencontraient les meilleurs Nationaux.<\/p>\n

Superfinale : Marc Fraikin bat Del\u00e9pine au terme d’une bataille de titans!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Del\u00e9pine r\u00e9alisait le d\u00e9part parfait devant Crosset, Gaillard et Fraikin. Fraikin remontait à la deuxi\u00e8me place, et r\u00e9duisait progressivement l’\u00e9cart avec le leader. Une fois dans sa roue, Fraikin livrait un beau duel avec son ami Del\u00e9pine. Del\u00e9pine faisait une petite erreur dans la descente, ce dont profitait Fraikin pour passer en t\u00eate et rester suffisamment solide pour rallier l’arriv\u00e9e en vainqueur. Del\u00e9pine semblait tout aussi heureux que s’il avait gagn\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

La prochaine manche du championnat de Belgique aura lieu sur l’ancien champ d’aviation de Brustem, les 17 et 18 mai.<\/p>\n
