La manche belge du championnat d’Europe 125cc, 7\u00e8me et avant-dernier round de la saison, ne pouvait pas mieux se terminer pour Cyril Genot. Face \u00e0 son public, le pilote Husqvarna savoure sa premi\u00e8re victoire europ\u00e9enne. Une victoire acquise avec panache dans des conditions que notre jeune compatriote ma\u00eetrise \u00e0 la perfection. Apr\u00e8s \u00eatre mont\u00e9 sur le podium \u00e0 Valkenswaard en avril dernier, Cyril confirme \u00e0 Lommel avec un premier succ\u00e8s compl\u00e9t\u00e9, pour le clan belge, par la tr\u00e8s belle seconde place de Jago Geerts.<\/p>\n

Priv\u00e9e de son leader, Maxime Renaux, bless\u00e9 il y a quelques jours \u00e0 l’entra\u00eenement, la cat\u00e9gorie EMX 125 est d\u00e9sormais compl\u00e8tement relanc\u00e9e alors que seul un ultime round reste \u00e0 disputer \u00e0 Assen le 30 ao\u00fbt prochain. Vainqueur de la premi\u00e8re manche le samedi, Jorge Prado a chut\u00e9 en d\u00e9but de seconde manche aujourd’hui\u00a0 et s’est battu pour remonter en 6\u00e8me position. De quoi permettre \u00e0 l’officiel KTM d’arriver \u00e0 Assen en t\u00eate du championnat,avec un seul petit point de mieux que son co\u00e9quipier Josiah Natzke. Autant dire que rien n’est fait et que le titre se jouera au finish entre les 2 jeunes talents lors de la finale hollandaise.<\/p>\n

Mais ce que le public de Lommel retiendra des deux manches EMX 125, ce sont bien s\u00fbr les excellentes prestations livr\u00e9es par les jeunes Belges. A commencer par Cyril Genot, \u00e9videmment. Cyril offre au public la seule victoire belge du week-end mais aussi et surtout le tout premier succ\u00e8s de sa jeune carri\u00e8re au niveau europ\u00e9en. Revenu jusqu’en 3\u00e8me place derri\u00e8re nos compatriotes Nathan Renkens et Jago Geerts le samedi, Cyril se retrouvait dimanche derri\u00e8re Jago Geerts en d\u00e9but de manche et le passait \u00e0 la mi-course pour s’envoler vers une victoire de manche qui lui donnait \u00e9galement acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re marche du podium devant le surprenant Jago Geerts. C’est donc m\u00eame \u00e0 un doubl\u00e9 belge que l’on a assist\u00e9 ce dimanche \u00e0 Lommel ! Jorge Prado compl\u00e8te le podium.<\/p>\n

Superbe second de la premi\u00e8re manche samedi, Nathan Renkens chutait au d\u00e9part de la seconde et se lan\u00e7ait dans une course-poursuite qui le m\u00e8nera jusqu’\u00e0 une 8\u00e8me place qui lui vaut de compl\u00e9ter le top-5 d’une cat\u00e9gorie o\u00f9 nos compatriotes ne seront d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment pas pass\u00e9s inaper\u00e7us dans le sable limbourgeois !<\/p>\n
