Comme le veut la tradition, c’est ce samedi 15 ao\u00fbt que le Keiheuvel accueillait le motocross international organis\u00e9 par le KMC Mol. Le club \u00e9tait une fois de plus parvenu \u00e0 r\u00e9unir un plateau international de premier ordre dans les cat\u00e9gories Inters MX1 et MX2.<\/p>\n

Chez les Inters MX1, c’est Kevin Strijbos et Shaun Simpson qui se sont montr\u00e9s les plus rapides dans le sable de Balen, notre compatriote remportant 2 manches pour 1 victoire pour le Britannique. Pour la seconde ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive, Strijbos monte donc sur la plus haute marche du podium du Troph\u00e9e Sylvain Geboers devant Simpson et le Su\u00e9dois Filip Bengtsson, r\u00e9gulier avec deux 4\u00e8mes et une 3\u00e8me places dans les manches. Une 3\u00e8me marche du podium \u00e0 laquelle aurait sans doute pu pr\u00e9tendre Jeffrey Dewulf, le pilote Yamaha terminant 3\u00e8me \u00e0 deux reprises \u00e0 Balen, sans un abandon en deuxi\u00e8me manche alors qu’il remontait dans le top-10 apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9part rat\u00e9. Todd Waters et Tyla Rattray compl\u00e8tent le top-5 alors que Steve Ramon se contente d’une 8\u00e8me place finale.<\/p>\n

En MX2, Petar Petrov remporte sans discussion le Troph\u00e9e Jo\u00ebl Roelants. Le Bulgare a men\u00e9 de bout en bout les deux manches pour signer un tr\u00e8s beau doubl\u00e9 devant le Finlandais Harri Kullas et nos compatriotes Brent Van Doninck et Damon Graulus.<\/p>\n

Chez les plus jeunes, notons les doubl\u00e9s de Jago Geerts chez les Espoirs et de Cyril Genot chez les Nationaux 125cc tandis que Tallon Verhelst et Wesley Jacobs se sont partag\u00e9 les victoires chez les 85cc.<\/p>\n
