A l’occasion de sa 9\u00e8me manche, le championnat AMPL faisait une incursion en province de Li\u00e8ge avec l’\u00e9preuve de Warsage, pr\u00e8s de Vis\u00e9. Le MC Warsage a une fois de plus d\u00fb composer avec une m\u00e9t\u00e9o capricieuse, les pluies diluviennes du samedi ayant retenu bon nombre de pilotes \u00e0 la maison. Pourtant, et contre toute attente, le temps sec qui s’est install\u00e9 sur Warsage le dimanche a permis \u00e0 la piste de s\u00e9cher au fil de la journ\u00e9e et aux diff\u00e9rentes manches de se d\u00e9rouler normalement, m\u00eame pour les cat\u00e9gories d’\u00e9colage. Pr\u00e8s de 1500 spectateurs avaient rejoint Warsage dimanche apr\u00e8s-midi pour y encourager les quelque 300 participants et y assister \u00e0 la victoire du pilote local Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Weigert chez les Inters.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Weigert s’est offert les deux manches face \u00e0 son public \u00e0 Warsage.<\/p><\/div>\n

Seulement 15 pilotes au d\u00e9part chez les Inters mais de belles manches qui se sont termin\u00e9es sur un tr\u00e8s beau doubl\u00e9 de Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Weigert devant son public. La journ\u00e9e avait pourtant mal commenc\u00e9 pour le pilote WJM puisqu’il chutait au premier d\u00e9part et repartait tr\u00e8s attard\u00e9. Pendant ce temps, Morgan Kintziger prenait le commandement des op\u00e9rations et menait les premiers tours de course devant un trio compos\u00e9 de Steve Piret, Eric Hubin et, un peu plus loin, Jordan Hebette. Peu apr\u00e8s la mi-course, Eric Hubin prend le meilleur sur Morgan Kintziger et semble partir vers la victoire. C’\u00e9tait sans compter sur le retour imparable de Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Weigert. Surmotiv\u00e9, le pilote Kawasaki fondait dans les derniers tours de course sur le groupe de t\u00eate et passait un \u00e0 un ses adversaires pour ravir le leadership dans le dernier tour \u00e0 Eric Hubin. Jordan Hebette terminait finalement 3\u00e8me devant Kintziger et Piret.<\/p>\n

Alors que Kintziger dispara\u00eet cette fois d\u00e8s le premier tour de course, c’est Steve Piret qui repasse en t\u00eate \u00e0 la fin du premier tour de la seconde manche de la journ\u00e9e. Mais Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Weigert a pris la roue du Namurois, qu’il observera quelques tours avant de porter une attaque et de s’envoler vers le doubl\u00e9. Steve Piret entretiendra n\u00e9anmoins le suspens en conservant longtemps Weigert en ligne de mire et terminera \u00e0 la seconde position devant Hubin et Martiny. De quoi permettre \u00e0 Piret de monter sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium derri\u00e8re Weigert et Hubin. Largement en t\u00eate du classement provisoire, Jordan Hebette se contente en deuxi\u00e8me manche d’une 5\u00e8me position.<\/p>\n

Valentin Lacasse s’incline face \u00e0 Alexis Vanbrabant chez les Espoirs.<\/p><\/div>\n

Chez les Espoirs, Valentin Lacasse et Alexis Vanbrabant se sont disput\u00e9 la victoire, Lacasse remportant la premi\u00e8re manche avant de devoir s’incliner dans la seconde face \u00e0 son rival et se contenter de la seconde marche du podium devant le r\u00e9gulier Tom Trembloy.<\/p>\n

Des doubl\u00e9s pour Lillo, Debroux, Leclercq, Chalet, Lhermitte et Cl\u00e9ment<\/h5>\n

Dans les autres cat\u00e9gories, les double succ\u00e8s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 nombreux \u00e0 Warsage. Aubry Lillo signe ainsi le doubl\u00e9 en 85cc en s’imposant \u00e0 deux reprises devant le combattif Lucas Adam tandis que Nyls Kessen et Julien Touch\u00e8que se partagent les 3\u00e8me positions, Kessen acc\u00e9dant au podium final au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de la seconde manche pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante.<\/p>\n

Chez les Experts, Patrick Debroux signe lui aussi le doubl\u00e9 devant Daniel Thomas et Frank Donnay tandis que Philippe Billy, victime d’une chute dans le premier d\u00e9bat, termine au pied du podium malgr\u00e9 une tr\u00e8s belle seconde manche.<\/p>\n

D’autres doubl\u00e9s encore pour Jonathan Leclercq, ultra-dominateur chez les Nationaux, et Lo\u00efc Chalet qui signe pour sa part un sans-faute chez les Seniors.<\/p>\n

Les courses sont plus ouvertes chez les D\u00e9butants et les Juniors o\u00f9 l’on compte pas moins de 11 vainqueurs diff\u00e9rents dans les manches, seul Robin Lhermitte, vainqueur chez les Juniors S1, parvenant \u00e0 prendre le maximum de points \u00e0 Warsage.<\/p>\n

Enfin, chez les courageux \u00e9colages qui n’ont pas craint d’affronter la boue ce dimanche, notons le beau doubl\u00e9 de Mathias Cl\u00e9ment en 65cc et la victoire de Julian Smets (3+1), ex-aequo avec Hugo Richard (1+3) en 50cc.<\/p>\n
