Pas de Kevin Strijbos, ni de Ken De Dycker, ni de Josh Coppins, pas plus que de Marc De Reuver ou de Shaun Simpson ou encore de Jontahan Barragan ce jeudi 21 mai à Wuustwezel. La foule de pilotes bless\u00e9s parmi le gratin du MX mondial avait en effet r\u00e9duit le peloton des Inters à une bonne vingtaine de pilotes, parmi lesquels l’Allemand Max Nagl et l’Estonien Tanel Leok faisaient d\u00e8s lors figures de grandissimes favoris, malgr\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence de Manuel Priem.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 l’absence sur la piste de Kevin Strijbos, le pilote vedette du club de Wuustwezel, dont le pilote Honda Martin est originaire, le public pr\u00e9sent à la 40\u00e8me \u00e9dition du motocross international de Wuustwezel n’a pas regrett\u00e9 le d\u00e9placement. Il faut dire que Max Nagl et Tanel Leok se sont employ\u00e9s à faire le spectacle dans les 3 manches r\u00e9serv\u00e9es aux Inters. Si le pilote Yamaha \u00e9choue en premi\u00e8re manche assez loin de son rival allemand, il termine sur ses talons dans la seconde apr\u00e8s un beau retour, avant de s’imposer in extremis dans la 3\u00e8me et derni\u00e8re manche. <\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re ces 2 grand animateurs, Manuel Priem place son Aprilia par 3 fois à la 3\u00e8me place et monte donc logiquement sur la derni\u00e8re marche du podium du jour derri\u00e8re Nagl et Leok. Marvin Van Daele se pla\u00e7ait quant à lui à la 4\u00e8me place dans les 2 premi\u00e8res manches avant de se contenter d’une 8\u00e8me place dans la derni\u00e8re et d’offrir ainsi la 4\u00e8me place au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral à Bengt Laeremans.<\/p>\n

Dans le groupe MX2, qui roulait avec les pilotes MX1\/MX3, c’est le pilote Shineray Nick Triest qui remporte le classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral devant Jurgen Wybo, vainqueur de la premi\u00e8re manche et Eric Foguenne.<\/p>\n

Doubl\u00e9 de Daymond Martens chez les 85cc<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dans les cat\u00e9gories nationales, qui disputaient à Wuustwezel une manche de leur championnat, Daymond Martens a sign\u00e9 le doubl\u00e9 chez les 85cc, tandis que David Foguenne est mont\u00e9 sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium chez les Espoirs MX2 derri\u00e8re un intouchable Dylan Verleysen et Dorian Devillers.
\nBryan Boulard terminait quant à lui 4\u00e8me à 2 reprises et \u00e9chouait donc au pied du podium, tandis que Renaud G\u00e9rard se contentait d’une 5\u00e8me place dans la 2\u00e8me manche apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e0\u00bb abandonner dans la premi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Notons aussi une victoire de manche en Nationaux MX2 pour Yerki Janvier. Huiti\u00e8me seulement du premier d\u00e9bat apr\u00e8s une course d\u00e9cevante, le pilote Yamaha se reprenait en s’imposant de fa\u00e7on autoritaire dans la seconde et grimpait ainsi in extremis sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium derri\u00e8re Tom Lahousse et Maarten Cremers.<\/p>\n
