Romain F\u00e8bvre a tenu \u00e0 cl\u00f4turer la saison en beaut\u00e9. Ce week-end \u00e0 Glen Helen, en Californie, o\u00f9 se disputait le 18\u00e8me et dernier round du championnat MXGP, le nouveau champion du monde de la cat\u00e9gorie a prouv\u00e9 une fois de plus que ce titre ne devait rien au hasard. A deux reprises, l’officiel Yamaha est parvenu \u00e0 effacer des d\u00e9parts moyens pour venir se m\u00ealer \u00e0 la lutte pour la victoire. En premi\u00e8re manche, Cooper Webb avait repris la t\u00eate de la course \u00e0 Josh Grant avant de voir revenir dans sa roue la Yamaha 461 et de devoir lui c\u00e9der le leadership \u00e0 deux tours du drapeau \u00e0 damiers.<\/p>\n

Dans la seconde, F\u00e8bvre se contente d’une deuxi\u00e8me place derri\u00e8re Josh Grant, qui avait pris la t\u00eate de la course au 4\u00e8me tour apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9bord\u00e9 Antonio Cairoli, comme pr\u00e9vu de retour \u00e0 la comp\u00e9tition pour ce dernier GP de la saison. Une deuxi\u00e8me place qui offre au Fran\u00e7ais de monter pour la 8\u00e8me fois de la saison sur la plus haute marche du podium, cette fois devant Grant et Webb. Le pilote KTM Dean Wilson est 4\u00e8me tandis que c’est Glenn Coldenhoff qui termine 2\u00e8me Europ\u00e9en en 5\u00e8me position, juste devant Bobryshev, Paulin et Van Horebeek.<\/p>\n

Au championnat, Gautier Paulin s’assure donc du titre honorifique de vice-champion MXGP 2015 devant son co\u00e9quipier chez Honda\/HRC Evgeny Bobryshev tandis que Shaun Simspon termine en 4\u00e8me position premier pilote KTM devant notre compatriote J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek.<\/p>\n
