Nathan Renkens\u00a0a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en 2015 la meilleure saison de sa jeune carri\u00e8re. Il l’a d’ailleurs termin\u00e9e en beaut\u00e9 le premier week-end d’octobre en remportant avec panache la Coupe de l’Avenir \u00e0 Baisieux. Vainqueur de 2 des 3 manches, le pilote KTM avait offert, avec ses co\u00e9quipiers Jago Geerts et Daymond Martens, la victoire \u00e0 la Belgique.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Remporter la Coupe de l\u2019Avenir, c\u2019\u00e9tait important pour moi car c\u2019est une \u00e9preuve au palmar\u00e8s prestigieux que beaucoup de grands pilotes ont remport\u00e9e avant moi\u00a0\u00bb, confiait-il au soir de l\u2019\u00e9preuve. \u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est une belle mani\u00e8re de terminer une saison qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 sans aucun doute la plus belle que j\u2019ai disput\u00e9e jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Et c\u2019est vrai que la saison 2015 du Li\u00e9geois lui a permis de r\u00e9ellement prendre pied sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale. Septi\u00e8me du classement final du championnat d\u2019Europe 125cc apr\u00e8s une saison consistante et quelques retentissants coups d\u2019\u00e9clat, le pilote WZ Racing a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 le meilleur Belge au championnat du monde Junior en prenant la 10\u00e8me<\/sup> place dans la cat\u00e9gorie cet \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Connu et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 pour sa d\u00e9termination hors norme, Nathan se fixe des objectifs clairs: \u00ab\u00a0Rouler en Grands-Prix, faire partie du top-5 ou \u00e9videmment devenir un jour champion du monde, c’est un r\u00eave depuis que je suis tout petit. Aujourd’hui, c’est un objectif et je travaille chaque jour en esp\u00e9rant pouvoir y arriver !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0La 250 me convient bien\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb<\/h5>\n

L\u2019avenir de Nathan, c\u2019est aujourd\u2019hui la 250. Un cylindr\u00e9e dans laquelle notre jeune compatriote (16 ans) a d\u00e9j\u00e0 eu l\u2019occasion de prouver qu\u2019il trouverait certainement ses marques, m\u00eame au plus haut niveau. Avant de remporter la Coupe de l\u2019Avenir sur une KTM 250 SX-F, il avait en effet surpris en Allemagne en terminant 8\u00e8me<\/sup> de sa toute premi\u00e8re manche en championnat d\u2019Europe 250. \u00ab\u00a0La cylindr\u00e9e me convient bien\u00a0\u00bb, confie-t-il, \u00ab\u00a0je n\u2019ai vraiment eu aucun mal \u00e0 m\u2019adapter, j\u2019ai imm\u00e9diatement trouv\u00e9 mes rep\u00e8res sur la moto. Je suis donc confiant pour la saison prochaine, d\u2019autant plus que j\u2019ai la chance de pouvoir continuer avec le m\u00eame team, toujours sur des KTM.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

C\u2019est en effet sous l\u2019auvent de la structure allemande WZ Racing que Nathan poursuivra en 2016 et disputera non seulement son premier championnat EMX 250 mais aussi, quand l\u2019occasion se pr\u00e9sentera, fera ses premi\u00e8res apparitions sur le championnat du monde MX2\u00a0! Un programme international charg\u00e9 pour notre compatriote, qu\u2019il compl\u00e8tera \u00e0 nouveau avec le championnat ADAC en Allemagne, dont il termin\u00e9 9\u00e8me<\/sup> de la cat\u00e9gorie MX2 cette ann\u00e9e malgr\u00e9 plusieurs absences mais en ne manquant pas de monter sur le podium d\u00e9but septembre \u00e0 Gaildorf.
