Une v\u00e9ritable machine d&rsquo;enduro dont l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritage cross est \u00e9vident&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Par Christophe Bertrand<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Vous prenez la base de la hyper performante 450 YZ-F, championne du monde MXGP en titre aux mains de Romain F\u00e8bvre, vous y greffez les accessoires et r\u00e9glages sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 la pratique de l\u2019enduro, vous m\u00e9langez le tout et vous obtenez la nouvelle 450 WR-F. Une recette qui a fait ses preuves en 2015 avec le beau succ\u00e8s commercial et sportif de la 250 WR-F. La WR-F adopte toutes les \u00e9volutions techniques apparues ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es sur le mod\u00e8le cross avant de se voir appliqu\u00e9es l&rsquo;an dernier sur la WR-F250.<\/p>\n<p>Clairement de retour au premier plan au niveau des r\u00e9sultats et par cons\u00e9quent sur le march\u00e9, Yamaha profite de ses innovations atypiques que sont le cylindre invers\u00e9 et son superbe ch\u00e2ssis alu afin de proposer une 450 dont le mot d\u2019ordre est incontestablement \u00ab\u00a0POLYVALENCE\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rgg-container\" qui puisse r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 tous les niveaux de pilotage mais \u00e9galement s\u2019adapter aux variantes de l\u2019Off-road moderne, de la rando \u00ab\u00a0p\u00e9p\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame en passant par le Rallye-Raid.<\/p>\n<p>Pour atteindre cet objectif, la base diaboliquement performante de l\u2019YZ-F re\u00e7oit les ingr\u00e9dients devenus indispensables \u00e0 la pratique de l\u2019enduro\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Un d\u00e9marreur \u00e9lectrique avec un nouveau syst\u00e8me d\u2019auto-d\u00e9compression am\u00e9liorant les d\u00e9marrages \u00e0 froid mais aussi \u00e0 chaud;<\/li>\n<li>Une bo\u00eete de vitesses, 5 rapports avec une 2\u00e8me, 3\u00e8me et 4\u00e8me vitesses plus longues;<\/li>\n<li>Un embrayage sp\u00e9cifique adapt\u00e9 aux longues journ\u00e9es de roulage;<\/li>\n<li>Des radiateurs sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e9quip\u00e9s d\u2019un ventilateur;<\/li>\n<li>La derni\u00e8re \u00e9volution de la fourche Kayaba air\/huile adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019enduro ainsi que l\u2019amortisseur Kayaba d\u00e9riv\u00e9 de la YZ-F450 mais revisit\u00e9 afin de g\u00e9rer les diverses situations de pilotage \u00e0 faible et \u00e0 grande vitesse propres au tout-terrain;<\/li>\n<li>Le frein \u00e0 disque avant passe \u00e0 270mm;<\/li>\n<li>La roue AR de 18\u2019 et l\u2019avant de 21\u2019 s\u2019\u00e9quipent de Metzeler \u00ab\u00a06 Days Extreme\u00a0\u00bb;<\/li>\n<li>Le guidon dispose de 4 positions de r\u00e9glage;<\/li>\n<li>Pour terminer, la Yamaha dispose d\u2019un prot\u00e8ge carter et d\u2019un kit d\u00e9co teint\u00e9 dans la masse.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Vamos !<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Pour nous permettre de faire connaissance avec la nouvelle WR-F 450 dans les meilleures conditions qui soient, on nous a concoct\u00e9 un petit raid de 180 bornes. Un parcours id\u00e9al pour se familiariser avec l\u2019engin et se faire une id\u00e9e de son potentiel.<\/p>\n<p>La prise en mains est naturelle, comme souvent chez les Bleus. Une petite pression sur le starter avec le syst\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0PUSH and GO\u00a0\u00bb et la Yam d\u00e9voile son bruit si particulier d\u00fb \u00e0 la position du filtre \u00e0 air au niveau du r\u00e9servoir. Un poil plus bruyant que la concurrence mais nettement moins expos\u00e9 aux projections et \u00e0 la poussi\u00e8re sur les longues sp\u00e9ciales de rando. Le ch\u00e2ssis de la Yamaha fait des merveilles, un vrai rail, elle pardonne \u00e9norm\u00e9ment et reprend sa ligne tr\u00e8s rapidement. Moins sauvage certes mais quelle aisance dans le technique ! La petite sp\u00e9ciale extr\u00eame jonch\u00e9e de rochers, pierres roulantes et d\u00e9vers en tous genres permettra de mettre en \u00e9vidence l\u2019excellence du moteur sur ce type de terrain. La 450 se manie comme la 250, elle est joueuse et peu fatigante, difficile de la mettre en difficult\u00e9 et m\u00eame lorsque je m\u2019attaque \u00e0 une marche rocheuse improbable, j\u2019ai l\u2019impression de ma\u00eetriser totalement la situation.<\/p>\n<p>Sur ce petit trac\u00e9 tortueux et pi\u00e9geux \u00e0 souhait, c\u2019est aussi l\u2019occasion d\u2019appr\u00e9cier la pr\u00e9cision de l\u2019ensemble embrayage\/bo\u00eete de vitesses, un duo irr\u00e9prochable command\u00e9 par un bon vieux c\u00e2ble au feeling remarquable.<\/p>\n<p>Sur la petite sp\u00e9ciale sablonneuse l\u2019occasion est belle \u00e9galement de v\u00e9rifier ce qu\u2019elle a dans le ventre cette 450. Son comportement \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9lectrique\u00a0\u00bb n\u2019est bien s\u00fbr pas des plus impressionnants mais quelle efficacit\u00e9 et quelle facilit\u00e9 dans les entr\u00e9es et sorties de courbes. La 450 appr\u00e9ciera le changement de rapport, l\u2019allonge n\u2019est pas son point fort mais en m\u00eame temps ce n\u2019est pas la qualit\u00e9 premi\u00e8re recherch\u00e9e en enduro\u00a0! Maintenant, ne me faites pas dire ce que je n\u2019ai pas \u00e9crit, \u00e7a reste une 450 avec la puissance qui va avec mais cette puissance est r\u00e9ellement exploitable.<\/p>\n<p>En fin de journ\u00e9e, l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de faire un galop d\u2019essai avec la WR-F \u00e9quip\u00e9e de la ligne Akrapovic permettra de d\u00e9couvrir une moto au caract\u00e8re nettement plus affirm\u00e9. La WR-F d\u00e9livre toute sa force, \u00e7a respire grave, on est alors face \u00e0 une moto plus forte sur toute la courbe de puissance, l\u2019allonge est omnipr\u00e9sente. Un appareil \u00e9lectronique optionnel nomm\u00e9 Yamaha Power Tuner vous permettra encore d\u2019affiner vos r\u00e9glages de puissance en reprogrammant la cartographie d\u2019allumage et de carburant sans ordinateur, ni t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement pr\u00e9alable.<\/p>\n<p>Il y en aura donc pour tous les go\u00fbts !
