Pour son premier Dakar, le quadruple champion du monde d&rsquo;enduro a jou\u00e9 d&#8217;embl\u00e9e les premiers r\u00f4les. Vainqueur des 7\u00e8me et 11\u00e8me \u00e9tapes du rallye au guidon de sa KTM officielle, le Fran\u00e7ais est pass\u00e9 tout pr\u00e8s d&rsquo;un podium d\u00e8s sa premi\u00e8re participation. Une performance avec laquelle un certain Toby Price s&rsquo;\u00e9tait d&rsquo;ailleurs fait remarquer en 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>H\u00e9las, une chute en toute fin de la 12\u00e8me sp\u00e9ciale ce vendredi en a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 autrement. Meo roulait pourtant \u00e0 nouveau devant et \u00e9tait en mesure non seulement de signer un 3\u00e8me succ\u00e8s d&rsquo;\u00e9tape mais aussi d&rsquo;assurer sans doute d\u00e9finitivement sa place sur le podium final de l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve ce samedi \u00e0 Rosario.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0En d\u00e9but d&rsquo;\u00e9tape, tout allait bien\u00a0\u00bb, commente Antoine Meo. \u00ab\u00a0Je roulais bien jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que je rate un contr\u00f4le de passage et que je doive rebrousser chemin. J&rsquo;ai alors perdu un peu de temps sur Toby Price mais l&rsquo;\u00e9cart entre nous restait limit\u00e9 et je suis donc rest\u00e9 concentr\u00e9. Mais peu avant l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e, nous sommes arriv\u00e9s sur une cr\u00eate qui n&rsquo;apparaissait pas sur le road book. Je roulais vite, j&rsquo;ai frein\u00e9 et j&rsquo;ai perdu l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re de la moto. Je suis alors pass\u00e9 par-dessus le guidon. C&rsquo;est vraiment dommage car je me battais pour conserver ma 3\u00e8me place au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral&#8230; Mais c&rsquo;est comme \u00e7a. Ce sera mieux l&rsquo;an prochain !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Antoine Meo termine son premier Dakar \u00e0 la 6\u00e8me position du classement moto, juste derri\u00e8re son compatriote Adrien Van Beveren, le double vainqueur de l&rsquo;enduro du Touquet, lui aussi engag\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e sur son premier Dakar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Antoine Meo a fait forte impression.
