Le Britannique Conrad Mewse a remport\u00e9 ce week-end \u00e0 Valkenswaard les deux manches de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9preuve du championnat d’Europe 250. Issu du championnat 125cc et du KTM Junior Team, Mewse -d\u00e9sormais sous la banni\u00e8re Husqvarna- a men\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re manche de bout en bout devant l’Australien Hunter Lawrence avant de livrer un beau duel avec le Norv\u00e9gien Even Heibye et s’imposer \u00e0 nouveau dans la seconde.<\/p>\n

C\u00f4t\u00e9 belge, notre meilleur repr\u00e9sentant est Kevin Wouts. De retour sur le devant de la sc\u00e8ne, notre compatriote signe deux bons d\u00e9parts aux alentours de la 10\u00e8me place puis remonte \u00e0 chaque fois en 6\u00e8me position. Deux r\u00e9sultats encourageant qui lui valent de fermer le top-5 de ce premier rendez-vous de la saison. Derri\u00e8re lui, C\u00e9dric Grobben prend une 15\u00e8me puis une 19\u00e8me place tandis que Nathan Renkens (24+19) est mal parti en premi\u00e8re manche puis, mieux parti dans la seconde, a chut\u00e9 apr\u00e8s quelques tours et a d\u00fb revenir de la 25\u00e8me position.<\/p>\n

Sur sa surface de pr\u00e9dilection, Cyril Genot, handicap\u00e9 par de mauvais d\u00e9parts, n’a pu faire mieux que 21\u00e8me puis 30\u00e8me et quitte donc Valkenswaard sans le moindre point.<\/p>\n

Prochaine \u00e9preuve du championnat EMX250: les 30 avril et 1er mai \u00e0 Kegums.<\/p>\n
